Re: Beach anchors - any recommendations?

https://www.beachhook.com/ Are great, they have big flukes and sit down flush with the sand so there is no real trip hazard

Re: Naish Phoenix

A brand like naish should have higher aspirations than to also have standard stitched 3 strut kite that does everything well but nothing exceptional. Good enough is the enemy of better. Did any of their previous aspirations stood the test of time? Sigma shape, Octopus inflation... Coming up with so...

Re: Kiters Demand Standardization valves, pigtails, etc.

There is also a middle ground by providing adaptors. For example Naish pumps work with North and Ozone valves (with the included adaptors attached to the pump). The pigtails on a Reedin bar or North kite can easily be reversed, and this is a simple low cost option to provide flexibility. The same is...

No double loop on 7m?

Congrats to Principi, he dominated

Re: New Kite Range at 100Kg - Switchblade vs. Orbit

I haven’t flown a 14m orbit, but based on how much wind the 10m likes I would consider a reach 15m instead. I’m happy going from an (old) 17m Zeyphr straight to a 10m orbit and that gives a great wind range.

Decay has, I think Gilion from Fluid has, and several others sound like they have at least some engineering education

Re: North Orbit 2024

i was really expecting a new bar.. i have 4 north kites, but i use a slingshot sentry bar since auto-swivel is so comfortable and i had a few unexpected unhooks with the navigator. i am updating my bar this fall, probably going sentry again for now. It was implied on the Megapod podcast that the Na...

Re: Possible new Eleveight bar?

Any idea when they’ll be releasing their new new season’s gear? I’m looking to get a new bar and the Reedin is the front runner, but I’m not sold on the line splitter

All of the semi-talented kiters who can’t race, loop or unhook are either a. Kite foiling or b. Winging.
