Re: Directional with straps for small Waves / Not for lightwind, not for freestyle

Dear all, I am looking for a directional kite Wave Board for small, imperfect, mushy Waves. (WITH STRAPS) No matter if fully onshore, or Sidedhore. All Boards I found, and were advised to me, are also recommended as light wind Boards. I DO NOT LOOK FOR A LIGHTWIND BOARD. I would use it from 5m to 1...

Re: older kiters prescription glasses how does everyone handle it?

I have prescription sunglass frames with photochromic lenses. Never have to come in early to change glasses as it gets darker out.

Installed a snuggy made from silicone tubing to hold the glasses on my head. Leashed with kite line with large knot on the end that drops into my wetsuit when I suit up.

Re: Stab for Spitfire

I'm not sure I get it, If that F-one stab is curving up like that in its previous life as a stab, that means it is profiled to create a downward force. Shouldn't you then bolt it the other way around for positive lift, i.e. tips curving down? I understand that through massive shimming you can possi...

Added some roll stability to the zeeko with an Fone stab....this shim was 3D printed with a carbon fiber filament. Surprisingly strong.

Re: WOO max Landing G-force. What is it mean?

The value is representative of how clean your landings are.🤓

If you're values are continually high, your landings SUCK!🤪

If WOO is used on a surfboard and your G values are very high, you're going to break that board. 🤣

Re: Re-sealing wetsuit's seams?

I have used PlastiDip brush on product. Worked well. More flexible than I thought it would be. Available in a variety of colors.

What about Flex Seal products??

Re: Rope Spreader Bar - Tips and Tricks

I don't like anything that adds length to the chickenloop. I would only consider a low friction ring or Talon type chickenloop as alternatives to what I currently use. Both shorten the chickenloop slightly. I chickenloop directly to the rope. The Core chickenloop is covered with a hard plastic that ...

Re: OBX Flooding

Endless plowing sand off the road, washouts, road reconstruction, rebuilding dunes, beach replenishment... I thought that this is the reasoning behind the construction of the "Jug Handle" Bridge at that part of the island. When construction of the bridge is completed, they can let nature take its co...

Re: Double action pump noob question

Double action pumps, pump on both the up and down strokes. Using double action pumps the kite up quicker. However, as pressure increases so does resistance making it harder to pump the kite to proper pressure. Opening the cap/valve changes to single action, pumps only on down stroke, reducing this r...

Re: Spitfire-cannards in general

Maybe they have changed the base plate at some point, but if you want to use it on other boards just give it a try, it might fit. I took a picture of mine. IMG_2376.JPG My biggest problem at the moment is that the baseplate has a 160x85mm spacing. If I want to buy another board (and I think I'm rea...
