Anyone know what these mast profiled stickers are for?
To seal off the mast?? Added protection on the coating of the base and fuselage?? No instructions. Never seen them mentioned before.

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

I am converting my old 2011 North 5'8" WAM. It will have a fixed foil position (I have the parts, material, and a positioning jig handy). I just want to get things right.

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

I will have a board with 4 footstrap positions. For the front I will have 35cm, 37 (Zeeko recommended), 39 (easier learning?), and 41 spacing from the aft screw to the front screws on the base. The back strap can be over the rear wing and aft of it. I noticed in the video with the XLW wing it appear...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

I am about to get the Spitfire with XLW wings and excited to learn foilboarding with it. Are there any specific tutorials or tips available to make learning on it easier? Or, Can the existing online how-to's work? For example, would the info in this part of this tutorial still apply to the Spitfire?...

Re: Aerodynamics vs Hydrodynamics . Behind the Design with Ken Winner

I had a G10 slalom fin for windsurfing. It was a prototype fin that I picked up in the Gorge. After a sub sub 40 knot session it came out of the water with a bunch of tiny pits and craters along both sides of the trailing edge. First thought was could this be due to the bubbles imploding near the su...

Re: Wingsurfing - Intel - forum topic?

For many locations, like my home location for example, kiting will blow it away hands down every time because kiting gets the wind that is up high all the time. Kiting rules windsports!! 👍🤙

This thing is a waste of money for any beginner in a location like mine. Just go kiting. 😁

Re: Sliding spreader bar dimensions

The bar is usually bent so it will not get so high forces. If you have a tight rope, the connection will not be as stable in the middle of the rope. If you have a bit of slack it moves in opinion more controlled from side to side and is also stable in the middle. Yes, that is true. But in practice ...

Re: Sliding spreader bar dimensions

I use a 12" spreader bar for maximum range of motion. For my preferance, I like the 'A' distance to never exceed the distance that a hook would provide. This gives me good smoothness in motion. I find if too little distance and things moved too easily and too much cause more wear from more friction....
