Re: Rope Spreader Bar - Tips and Tricks

I don't like anything that adds length to the chickenloop. I would only consider a low friction ring or Talon type chickenloop as alternatives to what I currently use. Re: OBX Flooding

Endless plowing sand off the road, washouts, road reconstruction, rebuilding dunes, beach replenishment... I thought that this is the reasoning behind the construction of the "Jug Handle" Bridge at that part of the island. When construction of the bridge is completed, they can let nature take its co...

Re: Double action pump noob question

Double action pumps, pump on both the up and down strokes. Using double action pumps the kite up quicker. However, as pressure increases so does resistance making it harder to pump the kite to proper pressure. Opening the cap/valve changes to single action, pumps only on down stroke, reducing this r...

IMG_2376.JPG My biggest problem at the moment is that the baseplate has a 160x85mm spacing. If I want to buy another board (and I think I'm rea...

Re: Hatteras closed. Who will get the money back?

This policy sounds encouraging if you had booked prior to March 17th?? Their clients could still get screwed if state, or federal, or international restrictions are not lifted prior to whenever the county restrictions are lifted....

Re: New Milestone in Kitesports Safety: ISO Standard 21853 on Quick-Release Systems

For the correct bar orientation, the Core Sensor3 has only one color on only one end of the bar (no other colors on the other end to confuse with what color needs to be in which hand). The color happens to be on the left hand and in bright yellow (with SENSOR printed on this side). The Core logo in ...

Re: My experience kiting in Colombia for almost 3 months.

A buddy of mine had noticed this wind nugget over the area earlier this winter and kept an eye on it all winter. He said that its there most days even on extended forecasts and still there when that day arrives. He wondered why Columbia was not on his radar earlier. Screenshot_20200331-124606_Chrome...
