Re: Board leashes are cool for wave kite?

It looks like they are using longer leashes too. For years, I used a 12 foot big wave leash (distance is your friend and thicker too, for no slingshot effect). There are things you could do to further reduce the slingshot because you can feel where and what the board is doing behind you. I get hit i...

Board leashes are cool for wave kite?

What's the story on board leashes in the GKA? Does the GKA have a rule requiring them? For special situations maybe? Everyone is using them in this wipeout clip.

Re: Camber induced kites?

Faction kites back in 2003ish tried it. But they ever took off. Perhaps, it added complexity to manufacturing and cost?? Added weight?? Water capture and drainage issues?? For too small a gains??

Re: Unintended suicide mode on Core sensor 2+ bars

Trying to understand what happened here since I have never seen this happen with any Core bar before. I have to think that this is just a freak occurrence due to the position of the chicken dick pressing against the line?? 😬 It's an unusual sight. Don't do that again. Never had any sand issues with ...

Re: Sky Tiger Hi 30 bridal diagram

That's not an old kite, it's a relic! I buggied with them in 1999 and I think they were old back then. 🤣 Have you checked to ensure that none of the bridles are twisted around /through itself? This might help. I was surprised that I found this here... https://www.kiteplans.org/planos/skytigerhi30/sk...

Re: Core Rope chickenloop

Hey, Just trying to figure out if anyone has found a way to run a core bar with something similar to Slingshots Talon system on it for a rope slider. I’m unfortunate in the height department so find that running a ring on the rope or sometimes even the chicken loop straight onto it ruins the bar th...

Or they may carry epoxy putty sticks for ding repairs. You might be able to find a variety of these putty sticks at a hardware store as well.

Re: woo 3.0 update bug - Do Not Update

I am a Beta tester too. No issues with this update. Always got pretty quick replies on past feedback. However, no response from them on my last feedback that was months ago and prior to the last app update in November. Kind of since the app updates became less frequent.
