A is close to zero on mine :D

So the bar can come as close to you as possible, and it slides well.

8) PF
And B is as long as you can get so the bar can slide as far as possible.

As always, pro and cons with whatever you choose.

So, if one feels fine with taking a foil in waves, go for it.
Never mind other opinions and find what works best for you. You can’t go wrong with that.
Agreed!

Re: No information and lack of exposure

Good info from https://youtu.be/9Dp71uGAa2A Thanks for posting this. There you go, he just described why foils blow doors on LEI's for drift in strapless wave ridding also. Toby: I agree, foils suck once you miss that first chance of relaunch. It's 45 minutes of beach hell after you release. But in...

Re: Goodbye to the sport that I love

Dude. Fear not. I'm 51. I had a bad paragliding accident where I stalled and fell about 40 feet. Ive been dealing with back pain with Sciatica bad for 4 1/2 years. I'm currently sitting in bed after surgery 1 week ago. I finally pulled the trigger on the surgery and I'm praying to god that I didn't ...

Re: No information and lack of exposure

But waves 2+m drop your kite once and cannot relaunch quickly...you will be back at LEI the next day. Negative. If you drop a foil while wave ridding on shore conditions just reverse launch it. You have to be quick, but no quicker than an LEI launch. In fact... I watch my LEI buddies drop thier kit...

Re: Gin Marabou Water Relaunchable Single Skin

I am cautious of them as I like slack line and it seems so many are confused what that means and what true slack line is possible. True slackline is basically no kite is felt in pull and no kite input is really possible with the bar ... amazingly because... the lines are slack. It doesn't co...

Re: The Naish Wing-Surfer

Maybe all the Debbie the Downers can just leave the conversation. I was a windsurfer back in the day just like half the other folks on here. Only I was a hard core wave snob. Then in 1999 I saw my first kitesurfer. I thought it looked lame. Then I told a buddy that I saw a kiter and I thought it loo...
