Riding Down The Line was great, felt soooo much more free, could stay high on the wave if I wanted to, easy, just surf along DTL, or make powered high speed lay down bottom turns, if I wanted to (the last is the only option almost, with tubes)

A high level of freedom added

Re: Do Peak4 kites work with waveboards?

Myself and Stef I believe are the only full surf (non foil) oriented riders that purely use foil kites, since foilolio has departed. But I wish so bad to try a Peak for full DTL wave riding in side on conditions. I am mostly interested in the larger sizes like the 11 and 13 to see if they might be t...

Re: I bought a Flysurfer Pulse2 6m...

That’s a very old foil kite, I’d be careful riding that on the water. It’s going to need a lot of work getting back to close to new performance and even then, you are talking over a decade old design. Even if it sat in a bag for this last decade, lines still shrink and fabric gets brittle. Might ha...

Re: I think we have a Troll problem

No one will ever be banned etc if you state your opinion kite related and respect users respectfully. Hey Toby, How about this: only allow KITE related threads. Delete the Covid 19 and Climate change threads. When threads deviate they always end up with trolls spam posting. It's like it encourages ...

Can you kite under self isolation? If walking and running and exercise ok? Thoughts pls?
No awnsers. Just be responsible. Also just realize your impact might not just be kiting, your also getting gas at the gas station ect. Again, just be responsible.

Never realised that there were so many prescient polymaths on Kiteforum!
It's pretty amazing actually. You would think that our kite community was less prone to such inflated views of themselves. But many on here seem to feel they are experts on all topics.

I’ll take a little longer time to pack up compared to the extra weight and chance of frozen zippers any day.

100% agree.

Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

Billie, I too will pledge to try to protect you. This thread pisses me off. I live in a county of 130,000 people. There are exactly 22 ICU beds in this county. Do the math. I spent 9 years of my life flying a medivac airplane in which I regularly flew patients with broken legs because there were no ...

Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

Now I am WAY pissed off! That first sentence caught my attention! I was thinking “this guy has a problem and needs to settle down!” 😀 Then I read the rest of it and I get your point. I think it’s fine to say “play at your own risk and be responsible for your own actions.” I think you should be able...
