Peru could work. I haven’t been there, but looks like they have some amazing spots.

Warm water is a must. It's freezing where I live, I'm over it!
I don't think you'd enjoy the water temps in Peru.

I had the same thing happen to my Dakine Nitrous shorts and Dakine sent me a replacement.

Re: Relocating to Tenerife...

I was considering a move to El Medano as well but I ended up changing my mind primarily due to the kiting conditions more than anything. I found it to be overly crowded and mostly a big deep choppy bay with the only accessible wave to be quite tide dependent and a bit dangerous with the rock break. ...

Re: Naish Hover Microchip 80cm x 34cm

I wish they included a leash attachment point but it does not look like it in the videos. Can anyone confirm that it has no leash attachment option?

And before anyone comments on "why a leash" it's for leashing up the board during rescue swims or dealing with kite issues.

Re: Cab drifter vs moto

I only have a 2020 Drifter but I find it's pull to be weak for it's size, I actually consider it a size lower than it is. I also find the bar pressure on it on the heavy side, especially in the wave setting. It loops very well though and while it's heavy compared to 1-strut kites the balance of the ...

Re: Gear theft

There is a huge difference between theft and locking someone inside a port-a-potty to steal their stuff. In Canada you might get the occasional opportunistic theft when nobody is looking but if someone were to lock you in a port-a-potty to steal your stuff that would make the 6 o'clock news and the ...

Kiter did a nice roll there and seemed to dodge most of the nastiness.

Re: Self landing?

When landing to to right side as in this video, rig your flag out line to the right side of kite when rigging using the downwind rigging method. If landing to the left side when coming in, connect flag out line to the left side of kite. This is incorrect, and using "right" and "left" are bad names ...

Re: Self landing?

Cabrinha has continued with a landing system, as seen in this video at about 4:40 minutes where it is demonstrated - This isn't any sort of Cabrinha landing system, it's just the top line flag QR landing method that I mentioned on page 3 ( https://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2413825&start=24 ...
