Re: Standard crazyfly raptor Vs raptor extreme, real life reviews?

I like the look of the raptor extreme but no way to try before you buy in New Zealand.... Way to stiff for Pt Chev or Te Atatu...or St Kilda. :) I ride it in all kinds of water including extreme chop, and it's really not that bad. Not comfortable either though. Have to use your legs as dampers a bi...

Re: Standard crazyfly raptor Vs raptor extreme, real life reviews?

Ummm, Not a single supplier will replace a snapped board. Just like a ripped kite on a tree. Not a single one. Sorry. Good luck. PS And if u guys think that EVERY board can break, well, u must have a foot of steel. The proper saying is SOME boards will break before your foot, and the opposite. You ...

Sometimes a board breaks? That's pretty normal every now and then, with all brands. CF is not really known for it.

CF has a 3 year warranty period for a few years now.

Re: Standard crazyfly raptor Vs raptor extreme, real life reviews?

I have the 2020 Raptor Extreme 135x41, and I came from the 2020 Bulldozer 140x42. I havent' ridden the regular Raptor, but even coming from the relatively stiff Bulldozer, the Raptor Extreme is noticably stiffer and that might take some getting used to. After a few sesssions I didn't notice it that ...

Re: CrazyFly 2021 Hyper - Go big or go home

I have the 12m 2020, and a friend of mine has the 2021 version. If we happen to meet on the beach in the near future, I can ride his kite for a while to compare. We're in a cold and windless period over here now, so it could take a while... My guess is the differences won't be very big, but the 2021...

Re: CrazyFly 2021 Hyper - Go big or go home

Ok.... now I am confused... The HYPER is THE BIG AIR kite with 5 struts...??? The commercial video is with a Skinny girl in light wind, and some recreational foiling in light winds. Can Marketing be more confusing??? Just my stupid opinion.... (On the other side: the board Raptor extreme : ticket t...

There is also Swiss brand Switch kites. They have direct sales and really very good prices. Their Nitro, elements kites are very well known. Also there is RRD or TEN kites which are also in low prices. Switch is New Zealand. Keep in mind with buying from them that the prices on the site are without...
