Ride engine one is not like that - in fact once locked in it’s sometimes a bit hard to undo in winter with cold hands as it snaps in very firmly.

It's not about being the same locking system or not, it's about unintentionally opening.

Re: Ride Engine Direct Connection system - opinions?

This is why is skipped the Prolimit Barloc... tried it, it absolutely did not creep up, but I was very nervous about the little loop used to disengage the spreader... it didn't need much to unlock.

Well, just ordered an 8 and 10. Let's hope there's some decent wind in the near future over here.

Re: High Pressure kite by Bruno Legaignoux

It seems to work well in video but it should be remembered those speeds 50-63kmh are not fast at all from the kite perspective. I've ridden over 10km in a row 60-70kmh and it was just cruising, really nothing special. What limits the speed is drag and surface quality, not the kites. In very high sp...

I'm probably gonna switch to the XS this season. Gonna test it first just in case but I'm pretty confident.

Re: Wow, he got so lucky!

Got to say I’m still confused as to what scenario makes someone walk to the beach holding the kite with lines attached and dragging along the ground, there are so many ways that can go wrong. It's obviously for the cool tik tok video and he got exactly what he wanted a nice video about what not to ...

Re: Ozone Vortex Ultra-X

I just had a quick blast on my 9m I have to say I don't agree with the low end being bad, maybe a little less power than an edge but the edge can be ridden smaller than most kites. If you are looking at the ozone range I would say the 9 vortex has a similar low end to the 11 enduro. One thing I hav...
