Re: Soul line adjustment after 2.5 years

IMO, don't mess with your bar. Better keep the bar tuned so all four lines are equal and ready for use with any kite. There are many videos on youtube on how to tune your bar correctly. I'd extend the Z lines so that they match A in long mixer test, then adjust C and B to match them. My 12m Soul, ev...

Re: What is airboarding?

It's nothing new. It's at least fifteen years old, or even more... Did not catch on in the past, doubt it will now, but would love to try it if had the chance...

Re: Soul lines broken?

Thanks for your advice, very important for me!, please can you explane me this: "It was probably not rigged right, and lines rubbed against each other". Wich lines could be in this case? Thanks a lot. In my case it front and back lines on the left side were wrapped around each other. You see those ...

Re: Soul lines broken?

Very unusual, but I have an idea on how it happened. It was probably not rigged right, and lines rubbed against each other. You can see the fraying on the leader line labels on the second picture. Definitely a result of rubbing. BTW I have experienced something strange with the Soul 12 three times n...

Re: Mast stiffness - 3d printed glass reinforced

Not bad for a DIY mast indeed!
BTW, mast stiffness makes quite a difference while riding. I can even feel some aluminum masts wobble and it's no good. Also some carbon ones are unfortunately not as stiff as some aluminum ones :(

Re: Mast stiffness - 3d printed glass reinforced

Hi, It needs to be super stiff. IMHO, you're better off by just buying an aluminum mast and plate from gong (90eu mast + 30eu plate + shippping). I and many DIY foil builders did so:) Still not impossible to build one yourself. But really needs to be super stiff. So stiff you can stand on it. Check ...

Re: Ozone Edge v11

Ozone usually releases a new version every two years. V10 is about a year old, so V11 is at least a year away.

Re: How to repair Naish Octopus female part?

I had many Naish kites in the past, and still have three. Naish female valves are indeed stuck on from the inside of the bladder. I fixed them using Dr. Tuba replacement valves from the outside. They have double sided tearaid and are easy to apply. I have also fixed them with aquasure. For that I sl...

I love my 13m Ozone Edge - when others are underpowered on 12m, I am boosting - weirdly, the Edge isnt available in a 12!?
11m Edge is in fact 12m. Here you see it over a 12m Core XR3. I put it over another 12m too. The same result...

How about the possibility to fly a Soul on a Ozone 4 line bar? Is it real?
Should fly perfectly with any four line Ozone bar.
