Re: Apple Watch 4 GPS Tracking App

Zef, was featured on topic on this forum. I tried it and it’s quite good.

Also, there’s an app called Waterspeed (has a free version with some limitations).

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12 difficult to handle at the top end

It has a good top-end.. but what was the weight of the guy you saw boosting the 12 when you were on a 9m LEI? and what is your weight? Don't forget it has the power potential of a 15m LEI. I am 80kg, and the other guy seemed to be about the same weight. Edging up hard against the kite and trying to...

Flysurfer Soul 12 difficult to handle at the top end

Hi, I have a 12m Flysurfer Soul. Before I got it, I saw a guy on one while I was on a 9m LEI, some other guy on a 7m Hyperlink. He was doing big airs and never seemed to be overpowered. I also read many reviews claiming it has a very good top end. The problem is, I am getting quickly overpowered onc...

Re: Line Check FS Soul?

My 12 Soul came with the mixer at B -1 cm, which makes rear lines 4cm longer. There was a statement from Flysurfer saying that the brake lines can be up to 4cm longer when the kite is new. I guess it's made to compensate for the initially expected shrinkage in B. I fly mine with equal lines and a 55...

Re: 3D Printed Wings - please post your experiences here

What software are you using? I've tried SketchUP and it works OK for building a wing, but I can't figure out how you punched square holes through the wing? Could you give me some tips please :) I am using Fusion 360. Don't know about SketchUP, but it should only be a matter of drawing the hole patt...

Re: Primelines - anyone ever tried it

I tried it on two bars. It did not make the lines noticeably stiffer or less tangly. The applicaton/bottle cap cracked before the second application... Had to tape it...

Re: iwatch setting question

North PIQ app, even without the PIQ can be used to track your session via the watch gps. Hi, it's unclear how you would do that. I have an Apple Watch 4 and a Piq. I would have to look at the PIQ app on my iPhone after a session? Once you install the PIQ app on your phone, it's watch app will be in...

Re: Sonic FR 11 Long Mixer Test

OK let me explain a few things, most likely again, sigh, but from all over the place. Thank you so much for your effort and patience! I really appreciate it! I read your post a few times, and realized that my understanding of the mixer is quite lacking, and when I think about it do understand some ...

Re: Sonic FR 11 Long Mixer Test

I finally did the B+5 C+5 Z+8 on the mixer as suggested by the long mixer test. But the kite would not keep its tips open. Tips collapse as soon as I manage to open them by pulling the brake handle. Then I extended the Z by 4cm more, and the tips opened, but did collapse once in a while. Also, the b...

Re: 3D Printed Wings - please post your experiences here

I have already built a 3D printed and then laminated wing before. This time I was just curious to see if it would be possible to build one that will be strong enough without lamination. The wing has -3 degrees of washout toward the tips. BTW I tried it today, and it flies very well. I uploaded the F...
