Re: Flysurfer Soul 12 safety release problem

HI Anthony. That is very said to hear. We already add our thicker deluxe+ material to the leading Eedge and moved the ridgid foils few mm from the trailing Nose away to avoid/reduce Damages in such worst cases as much as possible. To fix holes here, you can use white/transparent sticky tape from the...

Re: Flysurfer Soul 2

Hi. The additional site will be size 13. We don´t have exactly numbers who use the Peak on water, snow or land. But it sells great in Winter and Summer so it is still more snow/land. But Peak4 water lovers getting more and more. In the Pictures from the Chrono and SOUl you see, that SOUL use a more ...

Re: Flysurfer Soul 2

Hello. The PEAK 4 will soon get an additional size. As it is in the first year and we build sustainable products, it will take 1-2 Years until a successor will come. To add inflatable structure, will always make the kites more heavy and less easy to fly in light wind. The Peak flys super in light wi...

Re: Rolling vs Concertina folding Soul

Our Flysurfer rigid foils at the leading edge is super elastic. There is no problem at all. On top, our rigid foils are replaceable, but I don't know a single case at our kites that that was necessary. Some brands use less elastic rigid foils and than if you role it up too tight, it can be deformed....

Yes, that was fun to do the light wind test with them. We always love to push the limits.

Adobe Flash is needed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/srlmlk90mmc9t4o/Mixer%20App.zip?dl=1 There is always a best compromiose and tuning is mainly to adjust ...

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12 safety release problem

Hello.

From our experience, it is not better. To add a safety line to the backline in a nice way is also a challenge.

Cheers, Armin

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12 safety release problem

The Bridlelength has no effect to the length of the Safetyrelease. All our 4 Liner Bars work with all sizes of our kites (LEI and FOILS). If anyone want to check the safety, do that at a no wind day at the ground. Just fix the FLS-Endline (Saftet) and look that if you pull at the kite that only the ...

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12 safety release problem

When you release the kite to a frontline safety the remaining lines should all have at least 30cm slack. The best is to have the kite release to the safety and pull at the flagged out wingtip and check the slack of the remaining lines.
That is roughly half wingspan + about 1 meter.
