Re: New hydrofoil / wave kite and bar: Kauper-XT

It would still have the safety system just without the internal trim. What do you dislike at the internal trim? Ciao Rainer Kauper ----------------- https://www.kauper-xt.com If you have 65-70 cm bar throw that would be enough for the full effective sheeting range on a Ozone Hyperlink V2. For simpl...

Re: New hydrofoil / wave kite and bar: Kauper-XT

Any plans for making a bar without any trim just a longer than usual bar throw? I am sorry, but this is no option for me. If I sell a bar system to other kiteboarders I would like to be sure that they have a 100% working safety-system, especially when I do not know for which kites they are going to...

Re: Hydrofoil wings that work in seagrass areas

Moses Onda is the best I have tried. The big front wing drops seaweed easily and it is very rarely that the rear wing catches any.

Re: Latest surf foil design: Gull wing and other stuff

Most skip the simulation and tank testing due to cost, this is still a very small market. If you look at designs operating in similar Reynolds numbers with some of the same design characteristics and you manage to select appropriate foil profiles you can easily arrive at a solution that sails pretty...

Ion Fuse vs. Mystic Vulcanic

Hi! Looking at getting one for this winter and I know a lot of guys use the Ion Fuse, but they are 20% more expensive, and it seems that Mystic might have caught up on the material/design side. A while back Mystic drysuits looked pretty alternative, but now it looks comparable based on images. Anyon...

Re: Shinnster thoughts

Totally worth it and does exactly what it is supposed to. Used it for a while with the 50ish mm fins and some 80 mm more surf style fins. Fun board, rides like a skim but is more stable. Handles chop beautifully and is manageable in high winds as well despite the large size. It is a bit heavy, but y...

Re: North Speedster Combo Foil

Also a few broke in Denmark. The previous design from North also had a lot of issues in the fuselage.

The design of the connections is not great but the amount of failures is surprising.
