Re: Mast position - explain like I am 5

What board an what foil are u using? You need to align your center of gravity with the center of lift (usualy somewhere between the front wing and the mast). So move your foot hooks or mast to allow that.
To make it easier to adjust, only use a front foot hook... or go strapless.

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

I flew a 14m Aluula Roma back to back with a Core 15m XR4, on a twin tip ... It didn't handle the gusts as well, so it felt like I was going from underpowered to way overpowered in very little time. Might be something to do with the Flite more than with aluula... i’m actually amazed at the high end...

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Pierrot, My 7m Roam Aluula arrived a little over two weeks ago now. I’ve kited with it on many sub 15knots sessions since with a small wave foil and on one surf session in 18-28 knot gusty winter session. I’m totally blown away by this kite! In low wind it just doesn’t stall, amazingly fast and lig...

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Has anybody tried the 7m roam aluula?
Curious to see if it has the same « ridiculously low wind flight ability » and « extremely good high end » characteristics as the 10m...

Re: Duotone 2021

That is pretty impressive! Would be interesting to know what size it is. The fact it flies in what seems to be next to no wind is impressive, but I have somewhat already experienced that with my aluula kite... have not tried in 3-4 knt though... But the fact he is able to foil is that type of wind i...

Re: Inside leading edge blowout: how is it possible?

Interesting... seems the LE is worn out by the canopy reinforcement, likely flapping when the kite is on the beach.

Navigator Control System Review
So that is the explanation to the color coding choice: red eva color fading. Good to know there is always logical thinking behind design choices.

Re: North - MY21 Collection

Could argue that green is the official color for the starboard side in sailing... so it seems like they are the first brand who managed to get that side of the bar right in 15 years

Re: Safety issue with Duotone/North Bar

Could this come from the type of rope being used?
I change mine a couple time with blue amsteel rope (dynema) and they last quite long... over 50 sessions.
And it seems to be the same clam cleat.

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

You must have underinflated it. I have no such problem with mine. It's best kite I have ever ridden. Can't ever go back to regular kites. Maybe... but I’m not convinced it was underinflation. given that i had a 90mn session after that self launch and the kite flew as good and stable as usual in gus...
