Re: Hatteras to get another new bridge ... this one sucks.

Any updates from the locals on this?
The bridge, not the misguided comments from an unnamed poster.

Re: Make your own Splitboard

Hi Guys I did the same thing with a MAKO 140 for travelling to the BVIs this past November. Worked great! Words cannot describe the feeling I had when my friend ran the board through the table saw....LOL! "No turning back now" he said to me as he handed me the two pieces, with a big smile on his fac...

Re: Concave or Flat for Lakes

For Ontario's fresh water lakes with chop = Mako
Been riding Lake O for 15 years, always on a Mako. I've tried other boards, but always go back to the Mako.

Give Billy from Kite Passion a call, he can set you up.

Re: Kiting in Canada - Ottawa

Get a hold of Adrian from Drop Watersports, stand up guy and very knowledgeable.
Ottawa is great for kiting, right on the river in town.
Adrian can fill you in with all of the details.
Forecast looks decent, 10-17mph

Have fun

Re: Hatteras to get another new bridge......this one sucks.

Can we get an update of the bridge construction from one of the locals? Just wondering how quickly this new bridge is being built? When I was there in May, there were bulldozers working in behind the Liberty already and a friends wife saw survey stakes out in the Sound just north of Mirlo when she w...

Re: How old is your oldest kite you still ride on?

2006 Ocean Rodeo Rise 12m Still going strong, and still somewhat crispy. Never had a single problem with it. Overall kite construction from OR is legendary...... built proof! No loose seams, no worn fabric, nothing wrong at all, even the zipper on the kitebag still works...LOL! By far the best kite ...
