Re: A Homecoming for North:
New 2024 Kite and Foil Collections

I really need a new bar (upgrade my 2020 north navigator). I have been hanging out for the 2024 release to see if a new bar was coming, there were rumours of a new auto untwist bar. Any chance a new north navigator is still going to be revealed/released for 2024 or should I start looking at other op...

IKO membership compulsory in Australia?

I'm heading over to the gold coast for a couple of weeks in late December early January and have been researching kite spots in the area. I've noticed a few websites showing spots say that you must have an IKO membership and display your tag to kite there "Kitesurfers must have public liability insu...

Re: Board shorts?

Wow, didn't realize there were so many opinions on this one. Kind of figured it was because we spend most of our time on top of the water rather than in and a bit of a fashion thing. The thought that some other kiters would be judging me as a kook cause I wear boardies over my wetty actually never c...

Board shorts?

When I first started kiting around 9 years ago everyone was wearing board shorts over their wetsuits, so I did the same. I still chuck my boardies on over my wetsuit to this day out of habit really but I am noticing now that not so many people do anymore. Not sure what the reason for wearing boardie...

Re: Cutting down wetsuit legs?

Sweet :D

Sounds like i should have no problems cutting with scissors then burning to seal edge, and using soldering iron to make small ankle holes.

Will give this a go, and get back to you with results! :thumb:

Cutting down wetsuit legs?

I got a new o'neill pyrotech steamer at the start of winter, im really happy with it. It is a little long in the legs though, would be mint if I could cut about 2-3cm off the bottom. I'm a bit hesitant to cut the wetsuit even though I've heard it can be done and wont damage it? Has anyone done this ...

Re: Switch Bar Compatibility? Cabrinha + RRD

I now use my switch controller 2 with my old 2010 Cabrinha switchblade (8,10,12mtr) kites and love it.

Feels better if anything in my opinion, but my old Cabrinha bars are all in very used condition.

Awesome vids!

Completed my first session just practicing the surface down loops etc to start as directed and feeling very comfortable with the progression.

Thanks!
