Re: Spanish Lessons/Kitesurfing

Isla Holbox Mexico has everything you are asking for, warm water, consistent warm wind and excellent Spanish Language school/lessons. Great kite school as well.

Re: Hello-new member in Canada

Where in Canada are you? Lot's of kiters across the country and if you've got kitable water (or snow) there should be a kiting community to watch out for you as you advance. Also lots of warm water this summer!

Re: Holbox Mexico

El Cuyo and Holbox get the same winds, they are 25 miles apart by air. A bit of BS from come kite with us. Both are great places to kite. If the winds come from due east which they do this time of year as the tradewinds develop, El Cuyo is less kiteable than Holbox. El Cuyo has deeper off the beach ...

Re: Holbox Mexico

Big Sky is correct, bring pesos. My apologies for not mentioning the ATM problems. 500p notes are fine but you might have to have a cocktail at a hotel to break it smaller. Contact Holbox KIteboarding School http://www.holboxkiteboarding.com/ or search them out when you get there. At 75 kg a 12 and ...

Re: Slingshot Rally 2014 leading edge bending/boxing issue?

That is exactly the point where the kite bends during sending for jumps or hard edging when underinflated. Or inflated "almost well" but the rider 100 kg+ I agree. I've been riding SS Rally since 2012 and currently use 2014 and 2016. Only time I have had a "folding" issue (once) with a 2014 Rally 8...

Re: Kiting after shoulder surgery?

Had my shoulder rebuilt, more than just a cuff repair. Better range of motion than my other shoulder. The big thing is continuing the exercises recommended by the Dr. and therapist. Most people exercise and stretch until things feel good then forget about it. This will lead to future problems. Smae ...
