Re: Moses Onda 633 stabilizer options confused

The 483 stab works excellent. Why would you want to change it? I think personal preference Tom. Totally agree that the 483 works well . . . I was wondering why, when I had the setup dialled in, that I would look further but I am pleased that I did. All depends what you are looking for . . . like wh...

Without shim you’d need to move the mast back or stance forward by 1-2”

450 causes more front foot pressure if used in same place without shim

not sure how that fits in with the blurb from Moses

"Compared to the 483 stabilizer, the 450 reduces felt lift slightly"

Re: Moses Onda 633 stabilizer options confused

483 is more “balanced” one, but is more prone to wingtip damage and is an older model. 450 needs a 2 degree shim to keep feet in same position as with 483 and is 50 gram heavier than 483 Having had both I kept 450 now I am a bit confused. Which way did you have to move the mast if you did not want ...

Re: 590/633/683/790 Confused

I did ride with the 325 stabilizer on both the 633/683. Not sure yet if I like it or not. I had to slide my mast forward 6cm. After I got that dialed the stall speed was higher which I didn't like. I couldn't weight the front foot which I liked to do with the 483/450 stabilizer. I'll be trying the ...

Re: Moses 2019

Kids, how about a 610 short fuselage? can you say where you got the 610 fuselage? I asked Jimmy Stringfellow and he said "My fuselage is 749mm length from end to end." Stringy’s longer fuselage is 743mm. 749 is stock Moses fuselage He made the 610 and should have it on a spot today. Same as one Ric...

Re: Wanted - Carver wing a Zeeko foil

It was the Green&White fuselage that changed to the blind screw holes at front and I believe there was a new cnc process in manufacturing. This and ZEEKO being more confident in recommending using the large wings on this fuselage, screams out that it is stronger. The proof is in the pudding, so how...

Re: Wanted - Carver wing a Zeeko foil

https://youtu.be/bLvios_UZk0 Here Gunnar compares the green and white (which IS compatible with the new Carver wing) with the blue and white (which isnt)...according to him the two are identical except for having different sized fins, a plate that has cutouts instead of holes, and front wing bolt h...

Re: Pocket board building

Cut my balsa blank out. 110*45 cm, 21mm thick. It weighs 1150g unshaped. A PU foam blank is about 900g. My previous balsa build blank was 1500g. So saved 350 g. Need to think about the lamination. Probably put 3 x 150mm strips 100g uni D carbon each side to add strength. Then 2x 4oz (116g) glass ea...
