Re: all my kites, all valves delaminating

Yes, valves from all kite brands have been secretly organizing for several years now. They are seeking freedom from overbearing and suffocating leading edge and strut bladders. There is really nothing that we can do to deter the inevitable, because all valves united together in a single rebellion w...

Re: plastic tubes on depower/safety lines - are they a good thing?

I go back and forth, pros and cons for both. They should design the PU tube so you can easily take it apart for inspection. My least favorite thing about PU is in the colder months when the tube is cold and stiff. Not a problem once the kite is up but can be annoying when rigging.

Re: Wave kite size recommendation

If you already have kites and are buying a pure wave kite.... don't get anything bigger than a 9. Use whatever you've got when its light and use a 7,8,or 9 wave kite once it gets good. Bigger than a 9m and your not really into wave riding territory. Still kiting, still fun, but any kite will do. C ...

I’m not a huge wave rider...yet. I usually ride C kites but want to add 1 wave kite to my quiver for next season, riding waves in 15-25 knots primarily. What size would you recommend for a one kite wave quiver.

Thanks!

I have a 2018 Ocean Rodeo Roam for sale....it's a 9.5 in mint condition ..

Re: Wetsuit repair glueing - glue doesn't stick and comes off?!?

Have you tried AquaSeal? I haven't found a better sealant for wetsuits than that. My old O'neill Wind Freak was actually 70% Aquaseal/30% neoprene by the time I tossed it... Aqua Seal bonds well to Neoprene as long as it does not have smooth skin wind resistant coating..... where can we buy Aquasea...

Re: Wetsuit repair glueing - glue doesn't stick and comes off?!?

Have you tried sanding the area to be glued. A light sanding with around a 150 grit can rough up the surface a bit to add some grip..

Re: 2019 Cab double agent

Has anyone ridden the new Cabrinha foils? especially interested in the new RISE lift low aspect beginner wing. Hi matth, The HiRise: Lift isn't really a beginner wing. It can be used in that capacity, but think of it more as a maneuver oriented high lifting foil. We also offer the HiRise: Speed tha...

Re: Bar Pressure

I don't think it changes the power, it just feels a little less because you have a longer lever from fulcrum when on outside setting . Some kites the setting are about a half inch apart and I personally can barely feel the difference.
