Re: Please help to unscrew foil mast

Or you can go old school and grind a slot with a Dremel disk blade.

Usually, you will strip a screw when you use the wrong size tool or do not seat it properly.

Re: Cabrinha Fireball vs slider rope

I have a slider version too. Trying to figure out what I like better. Good thing on the Dakine bar I did not need to drill any holes. Simply looped around the ends. Works like a charm. 2021-07-14 11.04.07.jpg2021-07-07 13.51.38.jpg Lol....I think i saw that same setup yesterday... Maybe a BEK day t...

Re: Cabrinha Fireball vs slider rope

I don't think the Fireball or similar setup will ever give you the true effect of a sliding harness. Seems to me that even though it flips from side to side like a slider the tug point is still fixed in the middle. A true slider moves that tug point more towards your hips which feels more natural an...

Re: Choosing a foil kite

I can ride hydrofoil with 12m xr in winds where kite will drop from sky if its kept still.I want something better for light wind, so I am looking for ~15m foil kite now. Im 74kg. I have almost zero experience with foil kit...

Re: Naish 2021

My point, Gestalt, if you are wondering about specific kites, just ask here. :-) :thumb: So I bought the Pivot 11m S25 LE. Having taken it out, it seems the comfortable low wind ability on regular board going upwind for peoples 160-185lbs is about 15 knots or so. There is a cyclone due to hit tomor...

Re: Liquid force High Y adjuster gizmo

Of course High Y adjuster makes low V bar suitable for "high Y kite" but it is unnecessary because same effect can be had by extending back line leaders of high Y kite. Even more unnecessary is to buy new inferior bar with high Y. To think having "high Y" at 18m distance from the kite makes it fly ...

I find it odd there doesn't seem to be wind (knots) ranges posted on the Naish website for the pivot for various sizes. How do they compare size/wind speed wise to other brands?
I would say about the same given the kite style is the same.
