Re: Pivot 7m or 8m sizing advive

Decided to pull the trigger on an 8m s26, next time it's howling out there we will find out if this was the right decision

Re: Pivot 7m or 8m sizing advive

Thanks for the replies! Guess that its a lot to do with preference given the conflicting answers :) I will only use the 7m or 8m on a TT, and only from 30 knots upward probably. Guess the 7m would give me a little more flexibility, more top end, but will be less fun in 30-35 knts... @ThickAir, do yo...

Pivot 7m or 8m sizing advive

I'm after some sizing advice on the S25 pivots. I currently own a 10m, and use it up to 32ish knots. I love my 10m, the kite is fast enough for me and does not get nervous in its top end. Did I mention the jumping is insane compared to my old kites? :o . Now I'm in doubt if I need to get myself a 7m...

La Ventana in May

Looking to go to La Ventana in May even though that's way outside the "good" wind range. Anyone who's been there can tell me what the wind is like during that time? I'm planning to do a lot of hydro foiling so 10 knots is all I'd need. Also, are there any places that rent out hydrofoil boards? I can...

Salt Lake City

Any locals from Salt Lake City around? We might be relocating from the south to Salt Lake in spring and I'd love to hear some first hand experience on kite surfing spots. I know snow kiting will be great in winter, but what about the summer months? Is the small lake near Provo deep enough to ride a ...

Re: F-One IC6 850 and TS-51

I've owned this setup for a while now, and I really like the foil. I't bomb proof and holds up really well after a few close encounters with the sandy bottom. The aluminium mast and fuselage seem to be well built and everything is easy to setup. I'm not so happy with the build quality of the board t...

Re: F-One IC6 850 and TS-51

Ended up getting this setup and have to say I am impressed by how easy this foil is to handle for a beginner. Feels well balanced and stable. The board feels durable and I do not miss the volume at all. Straight from the start the foil generates enough lift to stop you from sinking. Was up foiling b...

F-One IC6 850 and TS-51

I'm looking to get a F-One IC6 850 and TS 51 as my first hydrofoil setup. Any first hand experience with them? I like the fact the IC6 850 seems to be really durable, which is why I'd like to go for the TS 51 board instead of the surfboard style too.

Re: Snowkiting in the northwest of New Mexico

Hi Matt, thanks! I'll definitely be in touch via PM before my trip to check on the local conditions. Hopefully there will be loads of snow and time for me to get a session in. :)

Re: Snowkiting in the northwest of New Mexico

Hi Matt, Is it common for the snow to be this late? I'll be near Farmington NM. I've heard good things on the Brazos pass along US-64 near mile marker 198. For skiing, we'll most likely pick Santa Fe as this is close to Albuquerque and the logistics work out really well for us there, we can hit it o...
