Re: Rebel 6 m 2011 to replace Rebel 7 m 2007?

@Wawando,

I know - I lived near Guincho for 2 years in my windsurfing days ( at the end of last century :o ). Will come back some day for sure.

Greetings,

Bruno

Re: Rebel 6 m 2011 to replace Rebel 7 m 2007?

Thanks guys!

Looks like 5-7-9 2011 would be the best combo. But 6-9 2011 comes pretty close. In that case, I'll keep the old 7 for the really gnarly days and for when I come to Guincho

Rebel 6 m 2011 to replace Rebel 7 m 2007?

The title says it all: I'm looking to replace my old 2007 North Rebel 7 m, which is - under the right conditions - a fantastic kite.. She's just a little worn out by now. I know the new model have a lot better low-end, but I recently replaced my 2007 9m Rebel with a 2011 9m Rebel, and found that it ...

Re: Rebel 2011, they did it again

Just bought the 2011 8m today, so most of my questions are obsolete now. I hope I'll like it.
Only remaining issue for later on will be if the 5m or the 6m will be the best complement for strong winds.

Greetz,

Re: Rebel 2011, they did it again

Hi Wawando, did you buy the 2011's in the end? I've been riding 2007 7m + 9m and 2008 12m for the past few years, and think it's time for an upgrade (or am I wrong and will I regret?). What I am looking for is to change the 9 m this year and then the 7 m next year, unless I like the new 9 too much ;...

Re: Any kitesurfers in the Monterey Bay area?

Another thing to keep in mind is that if you screw up, not only you endanger your own life, but your actions can have a devastating effect on all kiteboarders in your area. That should also sound familiar from the military. In Belgium, in 2010 a few very unfortunate accidents happened, resulting in ...

Re: Camper rental in South of Spain?

Good info, Speedy! If I rent one, I will try to find one which isn't higher than a normal van, so at least we would have access everywhere (even risking a fine). But reading this, and having had a look at the prices I've found on the internet, we may be better off renting a car and stay in apartment...

Camper rental in South of Spain?

Hi, we're planning a family holiday to the South of Spain at the beginning of May. Kiting in Tarifa and Canos of course, but also a tourist trip to the cities in Andalusia (Grenada, Sevilla, Cordoba). Basically we'll see how much driving our kids support and what the wind forecasts look like, and ad...
