Re: Aluula Composites | Episode # 135

I loved and always promoted the idea of less weight and more rigidity. Aluula hopefully is that kite, but for over 5-6 years we've already had a much lighter, cheaper and faster turning kite - the BRM Cloud. 10m Aluula - 5.1lbs 10m Cloud - 4.3lbs A pound lighter. Based on review vids, a good bit fa...

Re: Aluula Composites | Episode # 135

Yes but you are not really going to be able to jump much higher, have longer hangtime or pull better VMG on a race course. Faster turning is nice but not needed. Main benefit to lower weight is kite flys in less wind and falls out of the air slower. The better balance will help with the falling out...

Re: Introducing the World's Lightest and Strongest Kites - Aluula

40 percent of the USA workforce earn 18,000 dollar a year with many working 2 or 3 jobs. Trump's tax cuts did nothing for the average American as it was gobbled up by increase in commodities by Trump's trade war. Wrong - where did you get that info? You are saying that 40 percent of the US Workforc...

Re: Introducing the World's Lightest and Strongest Kites - Aluula

If you live in the US, quit your bitchin', unemployment is at an all-time low, the economy is booming, and there is no inflation. Not only that, we are being led by a stable genius. Not just that, mind you, but a "very stable genius." It's only a matter of time 'till the tax-cuts "trickle down." Me...

Re: Firewire Hydroshort kite version

OMG, you are arrogant and a troll. You are basically calling out everbody in the kitesurf industry designing kite surfboards as not knowing what they are doing. Lets see a few pictures of this holy grail board you speak of so self righteously.

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Anybody got already the chance and balls to kiteloop a 12m2 aluula kite in proper wind ??? That could really be a game changer, since the first tests say they climb and turn quicker. Right now, more than 9-10 m2 kites don´t make sense for kiteloops, because bigger sizes don´t catch you reliable. Ho...
