Texas kiting - lake ray hubbard?

I'm trying to help a friend that is down in Texas with some gear selection... just wondering if anyone knows typical (and range) wind conditions on lake ray hubbard in Texas?

Kiting East Cape of Cabo, Mexico

Does anyone know the names/locations of the kiting spots on the East Cape of Cabo (near san juan del cabo)? I've heard rumors that you don't have to go as far as Los Barilles.

I tried to buy some, the rep called north, they aren't available by themselves, you have to get the whole board. I would guess eventually they'll sell them separate.

so you paid 780 for a dvd? aye yi yi. I ride a metal one, and I use boots/bindings. It is NOT because it is less stable. The boots are to keep you attached to the thing. If you fall off of it, the last thing you want is that foil coming after you. they aren't carbon, but here's the metal foil sites....

to be honest, it kind of depends on what you're looking for. If you want high efficiency, light wind, upwind ability, then some type of hydrofoil would be the answer...though without a lot of practice, the single strut is hard to control. However, if you also want performance, meaning you might want...

the twin fin won't give you the performance you will get out of the single strut with fins (directional)....but I've seen a few homeade TT's.
