Re: Wingfoil - is it truly the best for really gusty winds? Better than Peak4?

One more question on the wingfoiling; people are marketing the wingfoil as an ultimate solution for the really gusty conditions, ie. smaller lakes surrounded wih trees etc. but I’m wondering if it’s really true and how one would compare wings to say Peak4 4/5m kites which people also tell to have t...

Re: Possible to learn wingfoiling with pocket board or 60 litres board for 80kg person?

With kite, pocket board and 633 Moses Onda I'm immediately up and running. Hence I was thinking abt how different the power is from windwing compared to kite, ie. with wing do you need to be standing and able to pump to get on foil, or is it possible to get the power amount needed from the wing imme...

Possible to learn wingfoiling with pocket board or 60 litres board for 80kg person?

I’m very good at kitefoiling, strapless surfboard rider and an ex-windsurfer, and I was wondering would it be possible to learn to wingfoil with a small board and would straps help in the process? My thinking is if you have your feet in the straps would it be possible to waterstart ie. get up from t...

Re: How I built my own kite surfing bar

Have you guys tried to make a bar from a 25mm outer diameter and 21mm inner diameter carbon tube and then in the middle and inside of it glue say 10cm long 21mm diameter full aluminum rod which has a hole for the depower rope? For foiling one doesn’t need extra strong bar, so would this work? I’ve ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Are we talking about poor upwind performance compared to an Lei kite with a foil, or poor upwind performance compared to an Lei kite with a TT or SB? I am talking about peak 4 versus lei wave kite on hydrofoil 1125 cm2, 90 kg rider. at lower end of wind range of kite on the lei wave kite I could le...

Re: covid 19 closing beaches, any more to report?

Has there been any/much talk about the effects of the virus getting in to lungs? My brother’s friend is a doctor and she said that the virus scar tissues the lungs which typically ends up destroying 30% of lung capacity permanently, and if you catch pneumonia afterwards, it’s by bye 😕 This is more a...

Re: First impression of Gong M Pro

What made you choose the 70cm? I'm debating the all carbon but ideally would like something in the 90cm. There is currently only a choice between 70cm & 100cm in the carbon Gong. To put weight in perspective: my LP foil which has a 100 cm mast & a 700 sq cm front wing weighs in at 2600 gms. The lon...

Re: Boosting Kite that Wave Rides

Neo, hands down, when windy they boost well. Look at red bull and airton.
