Re: Inguinal hernia

OK, here's my experience with the seat harness and the hernia. The seat harness puts pressure on the pelvis pointers and that's where many muscles tie together. Sooner or later all that pressure from years of windsurfing and kiting will take its toll . Answer: Use a waist harness. I switched and the...

Re: Mystic Help Wanted

Howdy, I didn't have luck with the wet suit. It's to difficult to get in and out of when your alone. I love the waist harness however. The harness sticks where you set it and doesn't slid around. Tough to buy a wet suit without trying it on. JMHO Good luck ! H2Air sells them on line

Re: North RocketFish, 5'9 or 6'0, final decision, pls help!

Good thread - I was in PR last week at shacks. 90% of the riders local and visitors were on directionals, both strapped & strapless. Great sessions everyday. I have not done the directionals and want to start. My question: Are either of these boards good to start with and learn or should I be lookin...

Re: rebel 08 user reviews???

I am reasonably pleased with the 9 & 12 rebels 2008. Some of my buds who are into the waves are not as happy. Some claim the Rebel kite has a dead spot or no power when swinging the kite low to the water . Anyway, try it if you can. Quality wise, I think it's very good. I'm happy - a little pricey :...

Re: Mystic Wetsuits

I didn't have good luck with my Mystic wet suit and ended up selling it on ebay. The problem I had was my height and large calves. To tight and not an easy suit to get in and out of if your by yourself or even if your with your buds. Pain in the ass. I also bought the waist harness which is the nice...

Mystik Warrior 07

The Mystik Warrior waist harness stays put and never rides up, down, right or left. The straps have stayed stiff as well. Wimpy straps with other harnesses I have tried. Tough to adjust wimpy straps in buckles.

North 2 pump

Listen to your elders.......Stay away from North two pump kites at any price !! They are big time leakers and should not be sold to anyone
that is not a good swimmer. '06's are great kites. Get a six pump. :thumb:

Menchu

Interesting Menchu says the '07 12m Rebel drives like a
truck and Dazza claimed it was the Dream Kite. I'm not
sure a 12m is a 12m is a 12m is a 12m. Maybe all kite
sewer's arn't equally skilled. Hmmm Crap shoot Maybe!!

Kite bladder mix up

I have heard of kite bladders being mixed up at the factory. Not with North but with another brand. I guess it can happen to all mfg. Hang
in there.

'07

If you haven't tried it and you get the chance try the '07 Rebel 12m.
I think the '07 12m Rebel, as I believe Dazza has said in the past, the
dream kite as opposed to your '08 night mare kite. Not funny, I know.
