Re: Switch Kites

The overlay is interesting. They do look fairly similar but I guess what can make them fly differently might be the bridle attachments and a thinner LE.
I own an '08 Thruster 12m and to me it is the best kite I have ever owned.

Re: Renegade "Infinity" light wind machine

here is the infinity compared to the 14m Screamer. I find the Infinity having way less bar pressure than the Screamer. The turning speed is somehow similar. I feel like I don't need to move the Infinity too much to create power, all you need to do is one good down-stroke and then pull the bar in whi...

Re: Epic Kites 2011

had a go on the new 11m Renegade today in flat water. What a big improvement from last year ! Its way faster, jumps better and it's lighter on the bar too. Can't wait to try it in waves.

Re: Best Kiteboard for choppy, little Waves and Freestyle

I'm looking too for a board that it's very good in chop. So far, the best that I have tried is the Hammer from Airush but they don't make it anymore.

Re: New Brand: Epic Kites

I've been spending a few hours on the 14m Screamer and here are my comments: the kite is very powerful for its size, it can easily be compared to any 16m kites. Compared to my old 14m Thruster is a tiny bit slower but it makes up for it in power, hangtime, stability and building quality. Epic bar is...

Re: New Brand: Epic Kites

I've tried the Kima 9m and the Renegade 9m with BalloonBoy yesterday and here are my thoughts: the Renegade seems and feels an evolution of the Kima. I found the Renegade having a bit more power than the Kima, I had to work the Kima a lot more than the Renegade on which I had to pull the depower a l...
