You could try with talcum powder or if not available baby powder... altho never tried this. Is there any way to separate or "unglue" bladder material that has been exposed to intense heat? I have a bladder with this problem and I tried to separate it with hair dryer heat and it worked, but not in al...

Check rubber O-ring on valve cap, remove any sand. Secure firmly. They don't fit. True, if you have a "new" pump and/or kitevalve, it will often not fit very well and pop out too easily, I was swearing a lot years ago when having the first of these....
