Re: vacuum ... or something else

You guys are kidding, right? It is not about making a vacuum, but maintaining it for many hours. The fast epoxy is a bugger to work with for foil wings. I ruined complete mast with mid fast epoxy, luckily saved the core. Ask yourself how much carbon etc costs and how much is a fridge compressor (whi...

Just so: http://www.wingworks.de/wp-content/uploads/wing2.jpg :D Hi PanTau, that's indeed great for a starter project! I'd love to make one wing before I even think about making my first kite. Thats the question to ask. Not about trust or lying. Plus, this bar is quite new on the market, and being EU/US w...

Re: Ruben Lenten - My most painful kiteboarding accident (broke my leg)

Not really, no. There is no evidence that any force was applied. The release force is way different under the load and not loaded. We all know that. What I want to see is the third party testing. Nothing less, nothing more. My Ozone Cat ripped all the way after the water impact. Ok, I can live with ...

Re: Ruben Lenten - My most painful kiteboarding accident (broke my leg)

The reason why there are 12 pages is exactly the video proof of such an accident which could easily result in his death. Never in the history of kiting there was a video taken by the rider into his final moments. Not that I know off. Imagine the speculation if he died? Just imagine that and the numb...

Ok, so why did you buy it?

"No problem" with what exactly? Did you put it under the load and test how easy releases? I mean, you could, right, nothing is stopping you...
