Re: Sorry, your used gear is worth nada

I will never ever buy a new kite, bar or a car. Sorry, THAT is not worth the money. For bicycle some people pay $10 000. Its a bike peo...

Hey all,

I think for sewing such thick fabric, so called Cobbler manual sewing machine is the best:

This is used for shoes, since cobbler means a shoe reparer.

Re: Flysurfer Soul 10m in 36kn

Its real.

Been on 35kn with my 10m v1.

Not for long but still. The jumps were scarry but managable.

Luckily the wind died so could land.

That bar with the release is deadly. It did open a good few times when I looped the kite.

Use it on your own risk if looping.

Re: Which is the durability of a carbon foil?

Mast? Man, mast lasts forever. This is the carbon mast of my Spotz Tuna 3. It is the end that connects to the fuselage. There is no way to fix it, but a high chance of losing the entire foil. I had to bond it with epoxy into the fuselage, resulting in an unimast-foil setup that is completely unsuit...

Re: Which is the durability of a carbon foil?

Which is the durability of a carbon mast foil? As the ripstop from a kite looses performance after a time, because it streaches, can I expect that after a time a carbon mast will loose performance due to some concret reasons that I dont know? I have an aluminium mast and I am doubting if its worth ...

Re: Shit is about to hit the fan

2015 was the first year of the Naish Pivot. Doesn’t matter let him win his imaginary argument 😂 You need to change kite eventually not because they are much better kites on market but because if you kite a lot you kite wear down very gradually but it does and you feel it suddenly when you try new k...

Thule has a very nice roofbox crane that can be setup in the garage, makes removing and storing boxes very easy
