Re: how much space to launch 15m Pansh A15

You need enough room for lines + bridle + a few feet - You will be launching directly downwind with the foil kite and it will generally not pull you down wind since it is not fully inflated until high above the ground. The bridle on the A15 is pretty long, maybe 3 meters. The mixer is lines on the b...

Re: Tip: Two Kiters on Land at the Same Time

I would think the person coming in would have the right of way. The issue is no one knows the condition of the rider coming in. Is there an equipment problem, fatigue, physical issue. The rider going out is assumed to be in a good situation. The same applies to aircraft. A landing pilot always has t...

Re: When ONE rear line breaks?

Would depend what you do with the bar. If you sheet out and take all pressure off of the unbroken line, the kite will fly in one direction until it crashes and will usually stay leading edge down in the water. Bad part is that the broken line soon gets tangled around everything. Hook, harness, feet....

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

@foilholio The only adjustment to the 18m A15 was a single knot in the B-line to stop the wingtip collapse close to the ground. No adjustment was needed for the 12m A15 with the new replacement bridle. 9m Aurura 2 required a double loop of the B-line where it attaches to the pulley. (pass the looped...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

All I know is that they do respond and all 4 of my kites from them fly well after some adjustment.

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

I had a complete bridle failure on my 12m A15 - My fault for looping the kite in 20kts. The loop was too large an a wingtip dragged the water causing me to loose speed and sink. The wingtip pulled free from the water and the kite accelerated across the power zone and pulled like a truck. A loud pop ...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

@Kiter_from_Germany,

Thank you for the info. I will look into removing my B knot and adding it the the B56 and B78 lines. This sounds like a great suggestion.

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Macisback, Sorry. I didn't mention anything about jumping. I have ridden Chrono, Elf, A15 and Aurora 2 foil kites but still like jumping on LEI kites. Something about the timing for me just feels better. Also when out on higher wind days for jumping, we usually have waves and I just feel better rela...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Macisback, The A15 is lower aspect and seems to turn faster. The 18m A15 is not a fast turning kite but works well on foil board. I am also 90kg and ride the 18m A15 from 6-12 mph above 12, I am over powered. Unless you are trying to go for the super low end, I think a 15m Aurora 2 would be a better...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

I have a 12m A15 and 18m A15 - Both fly nice as supplied by Pansh. Both have a slight tendency to collapse at the wingtip when close to the ground on either side of the wind window. This is only an issue when trying to land with assistance from a ground person. (No over fly issues at the zenith) - T...
