Re: App for finding good kite spots

kiteforum spots website is terrible to use.
How about woo spots map? It doesn't include info about spots but at least the map is usable
edit: I remembered it wrong or kiteforum spot maps was changed, you don't have to select continent letter now before you can see the spots

Re: (almost) tool-less foil setups

I have been waiting for quick attach system, because foil won't fit into my car and I hate the screwdriving job.
Naish abracadabra is the best what I have seen, only one screw. Please all the others, how hard can it be to build quick attach system? :D

Re: Buying used lightwind kite Beginner Help

I have naish draft 12m, and had 12m NRG. Both are quite heavy with shitty relaunch (it matters in light winds). But both are great high wind kites.

Re: Strutless Gong Kite Reviews?

I have 20 meter lines. I haven't used it much yet in super light winds so I can't tell much about the low end. And it's always about the skills (what I don't have) and foil board front wing size etc.. But I'm sure if you want to do something like this you need a foil kite: :D https://www.youtube.com...

Re: Strutless Gong Kite Reviews?

I have gong v2 12m strutless and I'm happy with it, using only it for foiling and winter(snow) light wind days. Good build quality and good kite in every way. Relaunch in light winds is hard but sure it's with every LEIs. This flies in lighter winds than normal strut kites, if you drop it in margina...

Re: plastic tubes on depower/safety lines - are they a good thing?

Crazyfly sickbar 2016, not so many times used.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0piv0mwv8tyxsff/2018-10-02%2019.54.30.jpg?raw=1 I think coating can be done well and then it can be done like crazyfly did it. It wasn't tightly attached, there was a gap where sand went inside. And coating was moving back and...

Re: Tear repair

Tear Aid A is good for fabrics too. It will hold that small hole for sure. Just remember to clean the hole area well with alcohol before sticking

Re: Why Peru is not a more popular kite destination?

Just came two days ago from Peru (paracas). Yes, it is very windy and water is "cold", need to use a wetsuit. I liked to kite there. Peru is quite far from Europe and expensive to fly to. My stomach still hurts. I felt everyone in Paracas got some infection from food. The food wasn't that good in ge...
