Re: Protection against the sun

I burn skin easily, here is my protection: a hat like this: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/KbIAAOSwc1pkIQSG/s-l1200.webp Sunglasses Long collar, long sleeve lycra shirt. "jellyfish pants" - any thin, long leg pants work of course. Or a wetsuit. Neoprene boots - not only because of the sun, but they ...

Re: 136x41,5cm Board as a big Rider?

I'm 90 kg and been using 134 x 41 cm for 10 years. My biggest kite is 13m². It's all about personal preferences.
When it's a light wind day (less than 12 knots), I'll choose a foil board.

Re: suitcase for splitboard

I was looking at samsonite suitcases at the airport, some of them might be large enough to fit a splitboard. But they are pricey. The benefit would be casual suitcase look, airlines wouldn't probably charge extra

ilha do guajiru ticks all the boxes except evening fun, if a few restaurants are not enough.

Re: Do you need Aluula Kites?

I'm not surprised that lighter material is less durable. Or generally when kite is built light, there are thinner materials and less protective patches. Lightweight is good when you travel, kites pack small and weight less in a kitebag. And of course when the wind is light when heavier kites won't f...

Re: what kind of lubricant should I use on a kite pump?

Silicone grease & spray lubricate well but they seem to dry fast.

Next I'll try lithium vaseline: https://cdn.broman.group/api/image/v1/i ... 8AD7E782BE

Re: Ozone Vortex Ultra-X

Ozone is sharing all the specifications on their website, like every kite brand should but the don't.. Vortex vs edge: Their shape look very similar in the videos, except the number of struts. And so seem the numbers tell also. Both have AR 3. Edge flat ar 5.4 vs vortex 5.35. https://ozonekites.com/...

Re: Want to break the Woo World Record, go snowkiting

I think it doesn't count, in the end, woo would reject the results. People have already "jumped" by towing or on mountains a kilometer high

Re: Ozone Vortex Ultra-X

I already made a thread of the kite (the same title: "Ozone Vortex Ultra-X") yesterday but it was removed. Is this a bug that threads disappear by themselves or did you remove it Toby - if you did, why? It would be good kite for foiling and for those who loop. Ozone + aluula = must be crazy expensive
