Anyone can comment Phoenix topend? Lowend is great, but what about topend?
Is 9m usable at 30-40 knots?

How long you heat it up with hair dryer? And what brand kite? Those who where just glued works well with boiled water.
If i remember right i tried with hair dryer, but it didnt peeled off.

And RRD kite valves till 2014 models with age get brownish, and just cracking off- usually where valve tubing ends.
2015 and newer models got bigger valves, probably longer lasting(hopefully)

With cutting it didnt worked out, as 2 layers are as one film. Tried options to remove valve with heat: Cutted valve L shape part off and with just boiled kettle squeze it to valve. It worked out but it came off with force, so bladder after removal left with wrinkles. Gluing valve a bit tricky, so n...

It is some kind of sandwich. AS no inside of bladder there is round sleeve below valve.

Factory heat welded valve removal

What is best approach to remove original valve what is heat-welded at high frequency from bladder?
Boiled water on glued valves were like peeling clementines, but on heat welded doesnt work so well. Bladder stretches and in the end surface becomes wavy.

Get new plastic tube(polyrethiane) from pneumatics shop.
They got blue and black mainly.
8mm inner and 10- would do the trick i believe.
Just repaired Rrd bar CL that way.

High bar pressure on 13.5m, 2010?
It has lightest bar pressure i had felt.
Maybe your 12m from 2017 was with high bar pressure?
How mk9 obsession compares to RS?

Are stains on white color?
I’ve noticed that white color got stains from black very soon if it dries folded.
