What's it like learning to kitefoil?

Learning to kitefoil is now open to a wide range of kiters and in this video, you’ll hear from two foilers, Michelle and Caroline, who came on our Progression Live Foiling Camp in Portugal. We took the opportunity to ask them a few questions about their initial impression of foiling, how they went a...

Re: What is the biggest kite you use for foiling?

It's great to see all the different setups and options people ride, it really shows how foiling is so diverse in what is possible. For me - 105kg, 6'6" - so a need a more power to get me up. I ride a F-one Mirage 800 foil. For the first two years, my 10m Neo did me fine from 10 knots upwards but at ...

Re: Small pocket board - looking for recommendation/advice

I haven't ridden it but a client had one of these Anton Custom Kiteboards and it looked pretty cool and it's really light, maybe around 1.2kg. Price isn't bad for anyone in Europe looking for an alternative to the KS boards which get expensive if you are getting it shipped over and then having to pa...

Re: 3rd party liability insurance UK

500K is nowhere near enough. I'd think 5 million minimum, though BKSA is 10 million. I'd also double-check if y...

Re: Keep trying...or part ways ?

What board are you using the Duotone foil on? If you can post a photo on the underside of the board (with the foil attached) so we can see the setup and also the top of the board to see the foot strap position (or just the pads if you're strapless). It should be relatively easy to see if the foil is...

Re: Cape Town Wind statistics on Windfinder

Not sure how much I trust these stats, several of the spots along the Table view bay all have really different stats - I always use "Kite Beach/Cape Town" when I'm there and seems to be the most accurate forecast and its statistics are a little better...
