Now wait a minute, the air is denser when cold, sure, but is not that same cold and dense air pushing on my wind meter. Of course it is. What is probably happening is a difference in air flow over water when the air temp and water temp diverge.

How about a pair of neoprene
Ya, that has been the #1 thing I have done for comfort is to get some oneill thick neoprene shorts.

from the center the first 3 battens one are not needed to be inflated.. just try and you will see.. the center batten is even a problem on AB, if you over inflate it, it will help you leading edge to blow !! Dude, you may have some time on "da water" and your "game buddies" may know there kites, bu...

If you are "powered up", never put the kite overhead on land. When launching, always keep it off to the side toward the water.

It is my understanding that a potentially weak piece on the NSI Reel Lease has been replaced with a stainless steel part. This seems like the only option to have a 10' leash w/o having your leash dancing like a bull whip (unless you are into that). I have one on the way.

[quote] ...try to quickly point your toes like you are leaning way back to get your weight as far as possible over the rail." Pointing your toes puts pressure on the downwind side of the board and releases pressure on the heel side, that is exactly what you don't want to do in a gust when overpowere...

Cabrinha Flamers, what gives? This is a new and excititing sport which is evolving quickly. Some people just seem to be so insecure that they feel the need to flame everything other than what they happen to be ridding. If your going to go off, at least don't do it anonymously, that is lame. As for t...

Something I don't hear many people considering is the aspect ratio. I regularly run my Cabrinha 12.2 (16.5 Flat Naish Sizing) when The Naish guys are on 20 meter Aeros. Most of the lift comes from leading edge of the kite. My 12.2 generates a lot more power than a Naish 16 because it has more leadin...

Dimitri Maramenides came up to Michigan for the "King of the Great Lakes" competion sponsored by Naish and Red Bull and had something no one else had in their bag... an all carbon 3 lb board. I picked the thing up and it weighed less than my lunch tray in college! Hana Crew is putting these thing in...
