Re: Duotone Introduces The Capa - Freeride Foil Kite

But the best kite on the market back around 2012, was the HQ Matrixx I. Don't get this confused with the Matrixx II and later HQ offerings as those were not deserving of even having the same name. And the Matrixx I was the best kite on the market until the Chrono II came out. But do you want to kno...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Well the 13 is out. Curious to see how this does on the low end. Anyone ride it yet?

Re: Corpus Christi - popular and user friendly launch sites

Where's the usual foiling spot? I've been to Corpus many times but that was several years ago before I started hydrofoiling. Thinking of spending the rest of the winter either in Corpus or SPI in my RV. Love the group of guys in corpus but SPI seems to have more riding spots and is more interesting....

Re: Duotone Introduces The Capa - Freeride Foil Kite

^^ translated to English Duotone Capa vs. Flysurfer soul This autumn we had the opportunity to try out the new duo "Capa". Before that, we did not even know that Duotone (again) launched a foil kite. That's why the surprise was quite big and we briefly tested the Capa. Meanwhile, everything is compa...

Re: The circle of trust

My job is significantly more dangerous than kiting without a helmet. And again it is my choice, my decision on what’s worth the risk. I won’t give shit to you for imo being over protected and you leave me alone on my “recklessness”. Deal

Re: The circle of trust

To all the people who are against helmet and impact vest, please give us a reason not to wear it. Not just “I don’t like” or “it’s not cool”, but a reasonable and argumented opinion. I kite as therapy. I can have the shittiest day in my life and after 10 minutes on the water, all the stress washes ...

Re: 2 kite Flysurfer Soul Quiver for TT

Obviously there is a shorter window - but when your in higher winds it doesn't matter if you lose a bit here or there, you've got plenty of wind. Once parked or mid jump, not much difference if you have everything in perfect trim. The specs of the 9m is very interesting. Same front to back as the 1...

Re: 2 kite Flysurfer Soul Quiver for TT

adventurelogs what is your preferred line length for the 15m and TT? For big air overpowered I actually liked stock FS length lines. I have the timing down for that length. I did enjoy 15m lines on it as well for hydrofoiling. My complaint about that size is the hydrofoil window was way too small f...

Re: 2 kite Flysurfer Soul Quiver for TT

Ppl are claiming that they are holding down the 15m at 20-22knts. I use my 15m w 24m lines though, and above 18-19knts, it gets sketchy. I was looking for one Soul that can cover between 19-30knts range, and 9m might do the trick. i think I should also consider 20m lines, but I love my 15m's low en...
