Re: Bridle Shrinkage

I did a long mixer today on my 9m soul as it’s been flying a little funny. Did the short mixer and all is fine. Did the long mixer and the A line on both sides was coming in about a cm longer on the bridle black marks at the kite. How do you correct the A line length? Most of the stuff I read shows...

Re: Foil kites on wet beaches

I actually love my new foil kite. Was having a blast yesterday with 10-15 knots while a load of kiters were looking at me with jealousy on the beach. Man, what a hangtime! Only then it started raining, kite was soaking wet yesterday. Laid out my kite today and it is drying up nicely... but it also ...

Re: 33% or 50% size gap for foiling quiver

You’re going to have too much overlap with the Soul 6m and Peak4 4m. You’re better off with a Soul 6m and Peak4 3m. I still have overlap though(I’m 85kg Moses 633). By far my favorite hydrofoil foil kite is my Soul 6m. Huge range and a lot of fun without worrying it will sink like my Peak4.

Re: Soul 2 - what Would you like to see?

Gorgeous launch. Where at? I’m sure Aluula can be done but for how much is my question. This is a smaller launch on the Oregon side of the river in the gorge. One of our East wind wintertime spots. The launch is small, but the wind can be good (but cold). I seriously considered moving to the gorge ...

Re: Moses 2019-2020

I’ve asked this a couple times with no answer but what wing would people recommend for foil surfing? Like to use my Moses setup with just a different front wing. 1100 790?

Re: Soul 2 - what Would you like to see?

I have some less-than-ideal launch sites and haven't noticed any durability issues with mine. https://i.imgur.com/pxElAG5.jpg Maybe Flysurfer can get the new Aluula fabric for the Soul? Cut the weight of the kite in half and make the fabric stiffer? Gorgeous launch. Where at? I’m sure Aluula can be...

Re: Soul 2 - what Would you like to see?

I would like to be less fragile. In last 3-5 seshs made more tips and scratches than on all my kites in last 5-7 years. Sorry. It is a high maintenance kite for me atm. Not doing anything special, but man, self launching/ landing takes a toll. So, be prepared. And no, I would not say that all foils...

Re: 21m sonic race vs sonic fr 18m

If it’s the FR then upgrading even to the Sonic2 would be a good upgrade. It’s much lighter fabric. I loved my Sonic FR 18m but I never considered it a good lightweight kite because if it’s weight.

Re: Soul 2 - what Would you like to see?

I had no problem deflating my Soul 15 with the two buttholes. Land it, open up the buttholes, wrap up the lines, then fold up the kite. I’ll take a little longer time to pack up compared to the extra weight and chance of frozen zippers any day.
