Re: Sonic 3 line lenght

Hmm have you done a bar line check? All lines should be equal. For the loop, this kite more pivots than turns but with the bar pulled in it should loop with less power. For the drift, the Sonic isn't as good as the Soul but still it has improved greatly through the generations. Keep some tension on ...

Re: On avoiding knee injuries

I have bad knees, usually wear a brace. To make it more fun, ended up with an impact fracture on my hood knee this last winter on a bad kiteloop. Strapless hydrofoil is no impact for me. I can ride for hours and hours. In twintip I have started using the more narrow stance which helps and I keep my ...

Re: Wind range sweet spot on a twintip

Thanks, Adventure Logs. I've seen some of your youtube videos. Great content! I've seen several other posts besides Nothing2Seehere who claim it gets overpowering at about 14-16kts. But you claim it's hard to reach the top end. Could it be because you have a better than average skill level and/or y...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

not much happening on this thread any Peak 5 rumours... FS is supposedly going back to water relaunchable like they initially tried with back in the original Peak proto. If it comes out this year, won't be till winter. I'm also expecting something special to be released on Flysurfer's 20th annivers...

Re: Wind range sweet spot on a twintip

If you are going to also foil, get a Soul 10m. Hard to reach to top end, very good low end and very versatile. Also since you'll be new to foil kites, the Soul will be a good choice as well. Easier transition. But if you are in an area where you can demo, try to get your hands on a Soul, Sonic, Chro...

Re: Soul V2?

So now that the v2 soul has been put for a bit for those who have tried the sonic 3 as well as the soul 2 which do you prefer and which is the better kite? It all really depends on what your style of riding is, your spot, and your skill. For me, foiling in surf/looping/actively flying the kite, I p...
