Re: Neo vs Neo sls

While Lee is sponsored (and I’d love to know how much discount he gets) he is backing it up with a vid. And the kite in his hands looks special no matter what he’s paid to say. Come on the rest, demo the SLS and Enduros get your gopros out and post your review vids on here to make your case for/aga...

Re: Neo vs Neo sls

Nice! Ozone uses dacron, so what it the reason? Less reinforcements than Neo SLS? S trong L ight S uperior? https://emoticons.datahamster.com/scratchchin.gif I mean Ozone uses Dacron instead of Penta TX used by new Duotone SLS series (lighter than Dacron). But the result is that Ozone Enduro is sim...

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

I still don't know why someone has not simply purchased the rights to cuben fiber. Best had hammered out the kinks for designing kites around it and they went BK - thats an asset that would be useful to a company competing against Aluula based designs. Even better, someone else did the R&D to make i...

Re: Duotone 2021

A really fast kite with some passive power that is correctly loaded, popped, and boosted will pull MUCH harder than a passive power kite design (think Ozone Edge, LF NRG, etc) And what does that mean? Are you claiming that you can jump higher with an Evo than with a Rebel? In nuking conditions, I a...

Re: Duotone 2021

To all new proud owners of the 2021 Clickbar: I decided to pick one up in order to be able to fly the core kites from my buddy as well (he likes the XR wayyy too much and has basically the whole range) So since I’m planning to get the 12m EVO SLS I’d like to use his XR 10m until I have my 9m kite. ...

Re: Slingshot lines

Anyone know what slingshot uses for lines? thinking back .. they are probably the lines I have snapped the least (then naish - then north (the worst)) - the three kins of lines i have ridden for years and years... The thicker front lines.. i want to buy a big roll to make up a few bars and lines. T...

Re: Duotone 2021

You could also just tack on A bunch of depower on the trim and use a larger size, creating a floaty passive upwards pulling kite the keeps you above the water. Works great when learning hang time oriented tricks

Re: Duotone 2021

I ride 2020 rebels and to be honest they are fast enough. For me it’s an old school boosting kite. Any faster and it will be too twitchy for me. Not sure what this constant obsession is to make every kite faster every year. I just tried the pullyless 2020 EVOs and they were way too fast to be hones...

Re: Camera Decisions

A powerful drone with tracking hardware/software would be amazing but I lack the funds for it and would still need someone on shore to baby sit the drone. A high optical zoom camera with a robotic tracker would work great but the only option is a Soloshot 3 65x. Online the company gets so much negat...

Re: Duotone 2021

Im a big fan of removing the pulleys! Speed all of their kites up quite abit. The Rebel really needed it, was a tad slow.

Ooh such a debate now - do I go for Dice, Rebel, or a 10m Dice/12m Rebel?
