Spots in Mar del Plata, Argentina?

Hello, I'm planning to go to Mar del Plata, Argentina in late December. Anyone knows the spots where kiting is allowed?

Thanks

Re: Depower Lines Wear, Strength, Replacement

Interesting to note where my lines snapped. The long steering line snapped right on a knot that had been there long and I neglected, very close to the attaching point with the kite. Both the flagging line and the center line snapped at the point where the splicing ends and the rope regains its regul...

Re: Depower Lines Wear, Strength, Replacement

Ok. I had never snapped a line in several years of kiting until now. I guess mainly because I was selling and buying kites usually with bar included. Weird thing, I snapped three lines at the same time. I snapped one steering line, the center line and the flagging line. I unhooked, my kite stalled a...

What do you do then? You replace only the snapped line? Or two lines? Or all four?

Re: Seeking Kiteboarding Olympic Hopefuls for Paris 2024

Shouldn't be the other way around? Shouldn't Olympics be the maximum expression of an already existing and well developed discipline? And not the cause or motivation to develop a sport?

Anyways, happy to see that kiteboarding may go olympic.

Re: Duotone...North who?

Not for me.
I grew up seeing the North sails on many sail boats, then the North windsurfing sails and when the North kites came out it was like 'this is my brand', but now, I don't see myself buying a Duotone. I know it's silly (or worse) to think that way, but that''s how I feel it.

Re: Miami in Oct and Nov

October and November are 'windy season' in south Florida. Expect to kite twice or three times a week in average with winds between 15 and 20 knots. And some days over 20 knots. I guess you won't miss your foil if you like riding a twin tip. Wind on fall is mainly from cold fronts, so a suit is a mus...

Re: Hurricane Florence and Dimitri Maramenides

Hey Mr. Topaz , This is another video Catching Alberto storm in FL from an epic rider. This time no van and no EPICKITES equipment showing. Enjoy it  :thumb: Thanks Dimitri! Don't get me wrong. I was disappointed with the video because I was expecting more action. Not disappointed at all with...

Re: HURRICANE FLORENCE and Dimitri Maramenides

I was expecting a kiting video of an awesome rider in epic conditions, but most of the video was DM showing off his van full of gear and some weather news. Disappointing.

Re: North Valves: Continuing a sad story

that valve in the picture isn't the old Cab's that you have to screw on? It works, but it has double screw. I like the Naish inflating valve. At least until 2015. I don't know if they changed it lately. Just push it in, then pump, then screw in the lid. It works every time. No twisting, no double s...
