Re: Hatteras closed. Who will get the money back?

1. Most likely Hatteras will be closed through April at the least and likely into early May. The State of NC has mandated rental properties must refund your rental if local travel restrictions are in place. 2. Property owners and rental companies can’t cover every possible option of why you can’t ge...

Re: Whats happening with Cabrinha distribution?

Corona virus has very little to do with the slow release. I have seen this slower release now for the second year As I saw this same result last year. Ordered the 2019 foil in July 2018 and received it in March 2019. I’m sure the corona virus isn’t helping but it’s not the root cause. I believe it i...

Re: Beginner lessons @ OBX in April

I have another option. There is Kite Riders LLC in Wisconsin. I believe they go down for the month of April and rent a house. I assume they give lessons but the best part for a beginner is that the house would also be full of kiters so you would have people to ride with and look after you outside of...

Re: NP/Cabrinha Mast Compatibility

I would call a CAB dealer and see if you can get a fuselage and wings. I recently damaged a stab wing from hitting a floating log and I was able to purchase a replacement.

Re: Arctic kiting in Norwegian fjord

Awesome spot, great riding and to be honest one of the better wakestyle videos I have watched. I bet the water season is short but then they are on the mountains in deep powder all winter.

Any details on how small this rig folds up? Looks like it may only fold in half.

Re: FireWire vanguard ?

I just received my 5'2" Vanguard last week and got my first ride on it this weekend. For reference, I am 180 lb and 5'10". I got it out in 15 mph winds with a 12m kite and small 1-2 foot swell. The board was plenty big enough for me to kite and I would not want anything larger. The amazing thing abo...

Re: FireWire vanguard ?

Felix, How would you describe the durability of FST compared to other kite specific surfboard construction such as North and Slingshot? Should the FST construction hold up as well? Another question, I am 5'10" 180 lb and typically ride a 5'10" North Wam at 23.5 L. What size Vanguard would you recomm...
