@ Puget, I see you are going with your own depower line setup rather than the PU covered stock Cabrinha. What size rope are you using? The line inside the Cab tube is pretty thin, like 2.5mm but it's PU covered. Thanks
Was out today on my Flite 14.5 Aluula and 138x42 Lieuwe Shotgun twintip in about 12 knots (I'm 80kg), well powered up, going upwind no problem. Used the Ozone bar with 25m lines that I use with my other kites. I have another bar with 27m lines but I don't think I'll bother to use it with the Flite....
I recently flew a 2011 14m SB and found the bar pressure surprisingly light/medium light. For you experienced Switchblade users, how does the 2011 compare (bp wise) with newer SBs from the past few years?
Thx
Not overkill if you're over 200lbs and especially true if in the 220lb neighborhood. It's like being on a 14m for
lighter guys. Eleveight RS 17m is an excellent kite with great top end.
I sized up on my 6/4 front zip but probably could have stayed with my usual size that I wear with 3/2 and 4/3 suits. It was just so much easier to get in/out of.
