Re: Bruno is developing an autozenith tube kite

You sir are an ignorant idiot. I suggest you stop using the internet as it is obviously a crutch for your ego. Aww, but I'm your idiot   Furthermore, I'll acknowledge that my previous post was antagonistic and was emotionally fueled criticism that was presented in an unproductive f...

Yes I do, did you know they gave the patent away for free because it was such a life saver?
LOL - I just looked that up, you're right.

To be widely used it should probably be royalty free. So for an individual brand putting lots of R&D into it it will be hard to earn back their efforts.
Did you know that the modern vehicle 3-point seat belt is a design owned by Volvo...

Re: When will the kite industry provide something other than chicken loops and hooks?

So is this a complaint thread? Or an idea thread? If you don't like hooks and loops, what do you like? Do you have a sketch of what you have in mind? From an engineering perspective, there seems to be few configurations beyond a classic hook and loop system. Even the seat belt idea is based on a spr...

Re: Bruno is developing an autozenith tube kite

What a stupid idea. As I explained to my wife who is interested in learning to ride this year; Standing in the water flying the kite around, learning how the kite makes power is NOT representative of what actual flying is like when moving at speed on a board. This "auto zenith" concept is not valuab...

Re: Would You Or Would You Not Wear Your Wifes Panties

I sometimes wear a retro, neon orange shorty wet suit (circa 1985). The years have taken their toll on this suit and now the ass section is completely blown out... Needless to say I had to start wearing board shorts over top of that bad boy as not to scare the local children.

Re: What is more dangerous, racing motorcycles or kitesurfing?

I think racing motorcycles is arguably safer than street riding. Controlled environment vs unpredictable human error. That said, I both kiteboard and ride a motorcycle. I place restrictions on myself for both activities - but more so on the motorcycle. As an example, on the motorcycle I never drink ...

Re: Twintip board recommendations for people with knee issues

There is a lot of mantra in this thread that appears to be the consensus because it is often repeated, but I doubt is entirely true or at least deserves further qualification. Hydrofoil are leg savers - smooth ride true, but then why do so many advise strapless, foils are only a leg saver if you ke...

Re: Twintip board recommendations for people with knee issues

There's no doubt about it - hydrofoils are the ultimate leg savers. Their performance and comfort FAR outweigh their steep learning curve. The only follow up to that is a nice surfboard. My opinion is that twintips are the most high impact board format. Sure you can get 'comfortable' ones, but a duc...
