Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

@ Denisesewa Thank you for sharing your experiments outcomes. I am especially interested in your opinion about foil reflex. As a monofoil rider you are a supercomputer!!! Keep in mind that CoG is 2m above monofoil, so the setup is highly unstable in many ways and you are good enough to control pitch...

Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

So now having 3 sessions on the monofoil I find the pitching down @ higher speed to be not much fun especially when riding down the face of a wave or larger swell, I spent the past few days building another wing to the same shape as first one but this time with 30 mm wide reflex on trailing edge of...

Re: Ram air caught in surf disaster

Just yesterday it happens my kite was caught in surf at the middle of the bay. I pulled the leash to prevent kite damage, then swam to my bar and relounch Soul10 after 2 min. Was easy. At least this time.😎

Re: Duotone PIQ sensor failure

Thank you a99, but it was posible to do nothing, as the PIQ dod’t react to the switch button.
The product is under the name of Duotone, so probably has Duotone seftware.

Not in my case. I’m afraid my vacation come to an end before they send me back an advice/solution to PIQ problem.
Are there any kiters experienced with PIQ?

Re: Waydoo Flyer $4,900 E Foil

I like it a lot.
If they put the motor inside fuselage and make hoop working as stabilizer, both speed and distance may improve.

Didnt get any response.

Do you have any advice/experience in that matter.

Would like to finally know real hight of my jumps and cannot manage to switch on the sensor to log in😩.

Re: Preferred line lenght for wave/freeride hydrofoil?

On 10m Soul-11 m lines give me best harmony between kite and foil turning frequency.

But, unexpectedly, a bit longer lines on 6m Soul gives the best synchronization in waves as well in jumps.

Foil kites have longer bridle 4-5 m so to compare with LEI add another 3m.
