Re: Naish Pivot vs Duotone Neo

@CAL with all due respect but comparing these kites for drift and jumping in 12m sizes is kinda useless. 12m kites will just suck in in these aspects, especially in comparison to 9-8-7 sizes and appropriate windspeeds that go with it. The Pivot 7m will outjump a Neo for sure in 30+ knots on a TT, bo...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

Regarding one strut ,the best ,for me, are the new Ozone Alphas, which are replacing all my other kites ,foils included. Have you tried the new Airush Ultras? I was very impressed foiling the 9m in 10 knots - had to work it a bit to get going on pocket board+surfwing, but once going it was fine, and...

Re: Big air and waving quiver advice

Not sure why you want to "boost" in light winds on big kites, you'll never get decent height compared to powered up sessions on a smaller kite. So don't focus on the big kites, but choose a main boosting size for 25+ knots. 8m is a sick size in most kites, so I would build a quiver around that. Rega...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Getting intrigued about this thread, since I am looking for a kite for wave foiling that actually stays in the air with minimum wind while riding towards it on a wave. What size would one need to comfortably ride sub 10 knots (minimum 7 knots) on a 1300cm² low AR surf wing, pocket board, @75 kgs? An...

Re: Gin Marabou Water Relaunchable Single Skin

So the guys that have flown it, recommend it for foiling in waves in low low wind? So it stays in the air and drifts nicely when riding towards it with slack lines?

if the bar has thick lines, as in above average thick, it's 2018

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather

Things have indeed always been changing, but never at this rate, things are moving ridiculously fast when you zoom out on the timescale. And people should really look at the bigger picture also from a global and social point of view. Killing off wildlife diversity and over-extracting our limited nat...

Re: gathering experience Ozone Reo V4 or V5 VS F-One Bandit X or XII or XII

1 is a dedicated wave kite that will drift nice and be excellent in waves, while the other one is an all rounder that will do a bit of everything but will outperform the other one in boosting and freestyle. So strange comparison to make - better to compare Bandit and Enduro...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather

The weather and wind patterns are definitely changing. I remember in Belgium we used to get plenty of strong West winds/storms during the season with nice waves, but these are becoming rarer and rarer. Instead, we seem to get a lot more southerly winds, which are weaker and off shore. There is a gra...

Re: Duotone Mono 2019

Looks super low AR. Gonna be grunty with drift but doubt that it will get you upwind easily on a TT or surfboard in it's lower end... Less important on the foil though.
