Re: Too many mistakes to list

Couldn´t agree more. More kiteboarders means more idiots. It´s not the pros that are megalooping 40 knots that are the problem, it´s reckless casuals like the ones in the video who are not aware of their personal level and experience, but underestimating the conditions they kite in.

Re: Please help to open SA beaches for kitesurfers

What is the point of having restrictions if they are not enforced? Agreed that restrictions should be enforced if they are in place. However, they should not be "over-enforced". It´s enough to fine people in my opinion. Using helicopters to enforce covid-restrictions is like calling a SWAT-team for...

Re: Please help to open SA beaches for kitesurfers

as most countries are doing the same. Really? Which other country uses military and helicopters to arrest people for leisure activities in COVID-restricted areas? It´s one thing to fine someone. It´s another thing to arrest people and patrol beaches with helicopters. What´s next? Death penalty for ...

SA in Beginning of 2021: "Hey let´s use a sledgehammer to crack a nut and patrol beaches with helicopters!"
Also SA in end of 2021/2022: "OMG where are all the tourists?"

Re: Dealing with a real world death loop in 30 knot conditions

One reason I don´t like the Cabrinha bar are these weird downward pointing "knobs" at the ends of the bar. Even if he would´ve recognized what´s wrong with the lines, they make it almost impossible to get the lines right again under the tension of 30 knots. With other bars like the core sensor it´s ...

My prediction for Ram Airs 2021 is that PMU will open a new thread about this next year with the same troll arguments.

Re: Pump kite with portable air compressor

why wouldn't everyone use this? Cons -you need to protect it from sand and water -takes forever to inflate -noisy -needs to be recharged -Pumping your kite manually is a good warmup. So why not use it? -Makes only sense with >12m sizes. Pros -You do not need to pump manually Is it worth all the cons?
