Coco plum beach in marathon is good. It has public parking and a clean strip of sand to launch. You have to walk out a few hundred yards to get to waist/chest deep water. I tried doing the nuts like that and they didn't line up perfectly when set so getting a bolt to thread was impossible and I spun the nuts tryin. You need to try some penetrating oil. Wd40 is a lubricating solvent. Kano kroil is the best I have used.
