Re: Exploding lines. Anyone had this happen? (picture in post)

Had the same happened with a FS Soul. Downloop, fell back when the kite powered up. My damage to the kite was a lot worse, tore 3 bridle attachment points at the TE clean. Since then I learned to not fight the kite when I crash, just go with it. Same when the kite slacks I get ready for the power up...

Ozone Kite water drains

Hello I have an Ozone Chrono V2 9m. I feel that I have very little time to relaunch before the kite fills with water. It's a second-hand kite, so the canopy material may be too porous. I can usually fix the reason for the kite dropping in the water, and am able to stand it on it's trailing edge, but...

Re: renew clear coat for mast

Thanks everyone for the input. Looks like there's a very thick layer of resin where the logo is embedded, so I can safely sand further. Will prob do that! thanks again

Re: renew clear coat for mast

Thanks so much for your answer. I was also thinking of using a 2K epoxy clear coat spray, do it in thin layers so it doesn't run and create imperfections, and sand in between layers. Let's see if others have anything to say. I'll also contact Moses.

renew clear coat for mast

My Moses 91cm mast is very rough, I found that the clear coat is "breaking" all over. What's the best way to get back to a smooth surface? Just sand it down, or apply a layer of clear coat? Epoxy or PU? Any other tips?
thanks

Reviews for Moses 670 or 671 wing?

Looking to get a faster setup (coming from Moses 558 wing). Has anyone ridden the new 670 wing? Also, I thought there was a 671 wing that was compatible with the regular (not racing) fuselage, I went to the Moses website now and it's gone...does anyone know what happened there?

thanks

Re: Pocket Board foil attachment method

Thanks so much. I ordered the snowboard inserts, go the deepest one (8.5mm) so there's a lot of thread available. These are M6 SS with a hex head.

Pocket Board foil attachment method

Hello I started to build a few pocket boards, and wanted to ask for your opinion on a good method to attach the foil to the board. Initially I thought about just having through holes, and using a bolt and washer, but that doesn't look great IMO. Alternatively, I thought about using an embedded T-nut...

Re: Apple Watch Band

+1 for the NATO band. I lost one watch already with the rubber bands, and now using the NATO band it's super secure.

Re: Liros

Just be careful where you order it from. I have SK99 and the lines feel like they have no coating, therefore they tangle very very easily. It's a major pain to run the lines. They also fray easily. This is from premiumropes.com in NL.
