Re: Best 2017 Kites

Thanks for the response. I just got the cabo and am new to the valve , have not used it yet, didn't want to break it by pushing too hard. I only pumped it up in my yard. I agree with the twist on type, I have really had to crank those down. This valve seems like a good idea, maybe the 2017 is even b...

Re: Best 2017 Kites

On a side note, speaking of the previous twist lock valve. Did you find you needed to push the hose in pretty hard to make it stay? I have been worried i would break it.

Re: Ben Wilson Kite bar

I had the first version of the BWS bar. Really liked it. The problem was the second time I wanted to replace the plastic piece in the center of the bar they quit selling them. After that was worn the center line would get chewed through quick, they quit selling that also. If anyone has used the new ...

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

Does this look better? I put a ring in, Bushflyr mentioned it is not safe to have chicken loop directly to rope. I guess from what you guys say the ring or some other device is important rather than chicken loop directly on rope. Hoping some one comes up with a chicken loop alternative that everyone...

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

I'm using the Epic bar, which had great amount of throw anyway. For now I have only removed the trim strap, Had to replace the center rope so figured I would just take out the strap at the same time. If you google valbocustom, this guy had an instagram account where he was going to make a chicken lo...

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

I really like the changes some of you are making. Inspired me to change some things. Please look at the photos of what I did to the Dakine sliding spreader. Any comments on this from those of you that modify things? Does this look ok? Sorry if I am off topic or if there are other photos like this, I...

Re: Bar mod: Removing CL and QR

Sounds like you guys are talking about the same setup Ian alldredge uses. No trim strap, rope across front of the harness. Is this the same type? Anyone else have more photos of this? I want to try this, it looks fun when he uses it.
