Re: soul pulling to one side

Attach your main line connectors to a fixed point, then check every bridle line with its opposite side by pulling a small amount of tension into the pairs of bridle, so a1 a2 a3 etc across all rows, compare left to right Check your A main and Z mains aswell See attached photos. you’ll quickly find t...

Re: 9m v 10m Soul

Hey Joe, it’s Jon, ive got your 10m haha funny seeing you posting about souls here!
I’m glad you went with option 2 and sold me your 10m, it’s wicked! Had a couple sessions now both a bit underpowered but the potential is amazing, can’t wait for more wind!
Glad you found the 9m a good replacement!!

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Sounds good guys, thanks
I’m 85kg, a 10m sounds ideal for 20-26 knots to go above my 15m

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Anybody ride their souls powered on twintip? Seems a lot of you guys are foilers I’ve got a 15m speed 5, thinking of a soul to go with it I have 12 and 9 Stoke inflatables that I’m not too keen on, so thinking of getting rid and getting a 10M soul and a small kite for looping, like a 8m bandit or si...

Re: Why does nobody make narrow boards anymore?

Longer and wider but 14 years newer, I imagine the ride will be an improvement over a 2006 Thorn?

KOTA riders don’t seem to struggle too much and there’s a variety of board sizes there

Re: launch/landing foil kites on rough beaches ?

I’ve launched and landed on stones for years and never damaged my Flysurfers. I do check to make sure there’s no obvious broken shells or anything really sharp On the flip side bought two inflatables and have worn through the canopy where it touches the bladder simply from rolling the kite over on t...

Re: Packing foilkite without bar?

Same as above I roll the kite up with bar attached, then clip the lines and detach the bar. It is easiest to roll the kite by rolling each tip to the middle, that way you can leave the bar outside the kite Attach the bar to whatever kite I’m using before I unroll the kite, then unroll the lines. nev...

Re: CKB kitelandboard Deck / Alternatives

Never thought I’d see CKB mentioned on kiteforum!

I have two, that I got 10 years ago, absolutely amazing workmanship

I’m guessing you know about Trampa boards? They’re the only alternative really And they’re pretty customisable, but obviously they’re not carbon and not as thin and light

Re: Soul bridle

I’d contact Flysurfer, the lcls are designed to break so the bridle lines don’t, they will be able to get you the spare and may be decent and not charge you for it
