Re: Flysurfer Peak4 in 5 m2, truly stoked

Wauw seems like the Peak 4 is a new thing to try when foiling. Have no experince with foilkites at all. Some of you mentioned that the Peak4 is a treat to launch and gets more places avaible for launching, How come ??? Is it easy to launch and land by yourself ??? Important for me as I foil 95% of t...

Re: Gong strutless impressions

I have foiled the Gong V3 strutless 12m for about 6 weeks by now. I’m very satiesfied and with my 82 kg I use it from app. 4 m/s. I can compare it to the Gong V1 strutless. The V3 feels much more stable and I guess it’s because of the extra bridle fixing point to the leading edge. I tried to put in ...

Re: Gong single strut kite

My experience with Gong strutless started with the V1 models. I can not compare V2 to V3 as I never had the V2. As I mentioned the V3 has 6 attachments points to the leading edge pr. frontline. Further more you can attach a nylon “stringer” in the middle. Didn’t use the stringer yet, but guess it wi...

Re: Gong single strut kite

I’m a foilboarder and have owened and foiled with Gong Strutless 9 and 12, Liquid Force Solo 9 and 12 and Airush Ultra 9 and 12. IMO Solos are not a light weight kite any way much heavier then the others. I still use a 6.5 m2 Solo for high wind foiling where weight is not that important. Ultra and G...

Re: Storm voyager vs other strutless

I have been foiling with the Storm Voyager 12 for about a year, but changed it to a Airush Ultra 12 8-9 months ago. They are both excellent kites for foiling. Both very very light and stays in the air in almost no wind. I never experienced any of them dropping out of the sky due to lack of wind. It ...

Re: BraCuru Foilboards

I can fully confirm the detailed description Peter Frank made of the Bracaru Hoover foilboard !!!!!! I got one myself and are absolutely stunned about how early it builds up speed and how quick it makes you get up foiling. If you make touch downs when gybing you easily maintain speed, soo as soon yo...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

OMG/RadDrDuke Hi there I used Airush UL 9 and 12 for foiling for almost a year know. I’m very happy for both of them. Before I used Gong and Storm strutless for foiling playing around and racekites Naish Draft and Cabrinha Apollo for longer cruising. Compared to Gong and Storm strutless the UL are m...

Re: wetsuit alteration

To make hole at the ancels use a 4-5 pin fork. Make it red gloving and make the holes. No more Elephant legs due to water inside the suit. Did it for years, works perfect and made no unintened harm to the wetsuits.

Re: One strut kites - which the lightest of them all?

Like Abel I have experience with both Solo and Ultra. Before I used Solo 9 and 12 for foiling and now Ultra also 9 and 12. Ultra’s never fall out of the sky due to lack of wind, which could happend with the Solo’s.

Re: Light wind kites

I foil with Airush Ultra 9-12 and with a Storm Voyager 15. IMO there is a noticeable difference between the Ultra 12 and the Storm 15 in how low the wind they are foilable. The 15 m gets going in next to no wind with 30 m 1 mm thick kite lines.
