Re: Liquid force havoc 2007

Dear Kitewise, Think irony, satire, sarcasm. My last post was filled with it. If you look back in the thread you will see I made lucid and relevant recommendations for getting his kite to fly properly and then made my pitch for him to get lessons. And invest in a newer kite. A pitch he continues to...

Re: Liquid force havoc 2007

Update 14/06/2014 My kite is finally flying very well. I have tried different setups for my back line length and ended up shortening my backlines by about 4cm and use the knot closed to the kite. I now can walk on the beach from one side to the other, manovour my kite accordingly, body dragging and ...

Re: Liquid force havoc 2007

Lessons? You don't need lessons. They're for suckers. No, what you need to do is continue to just wing it and hope for the best. What you see others doing is irrelevant. Do what feels right to you. Definitely adjust your bridle line lengths. Silly manufacturer had it all screwed up anyway. Then be ...

Re: Liquid force havoc 2007

I have found a site where they are talking about tuning the kite and the funny thing is that the pictures are from a liquid force havoc from 2007. http://www.progression.me/news/2011/07/12/dont-blame-your-kite-she-might-just-need-a-little-tuning/ They talk about Front & Back Lines Common Problems an...

Re: Liquid force havoc 2007

Went to the beach today, it was a holiday here in Portugal and in the weekend I could not tray the kite because of bad weather. I have flied the kite on the closest knot today and it was a little bit better but still think that it needs tweaking. If I look at the other people that are on the beach w...

Re: Liquid force havoc 2007

You have no idea what you're talking about. This is mind blowing. Take a lesson. This sport is not a joke. If you want to putt around in the water and teach yourself a sport then go windsurfing. From what you have said to this point you don't have a shred of useful kiteboarding knowledge and what's ...

Re: Liquid force havoc 2007

I have not taken any lessons and I´am going to explain why: The only beach we have here for kitesurf is Praia de Cabedelo, take a look: https://www.google.pt/maps/search/praia+de+cabedelo+kitesurf/@41.6772218,-8.8339656,908m/data=!3m1!1e3 It is a beautiful beach but the problem is that there is only...

Re: Liquid force havoc 2007

It is a 10M and I weight 78kg, 1.83m. Wind range here in Portugal is 15-40 knots. I want to ride this kite between 15 and 30 knots max, ideal is 20-25 knots. All this on a gaastra contact board 141x39cm.
