Re: where to set the Y on a Neo

Just so everyone understands the difference between a "V" and a "Y".......they're not the same.

Re: Single strut kite comparison

The New Duotone Mono is much different than last years and much better....... But when talking about "one strut or No strut " kites, you have to remember it's all a compromise. Kites with a good top-end do so at the expense of a bottom end. Single strut kites are meant to be good low wind kites, the...

Re: One vs two front straps on board

In the beginning of Foil-boarding there was a huge misconception that if you used straps they should be adjusted very loosely for your foot. That couldn't be more wrong.......because that's how your foot can get jammed tight when you fall therefore twisting your ankle or worse. Your foot straps shou...

Re: Duotone Evo 2019 vs Evo 2018

If the wind is so light that you need a 14m kite.........you should try the New 2019 Mono. Much improved over the older versions. Will not back stall in very light wind, turns well and has a great dose of low end power. I'm coming from 2018 Neos, which I still love in powered conditions, but when it...

Re: About real small pocket boards < 1 m, benefits and limits

If you have noticeable more trouble turning a 130cm board than a 90cm board...........you need to spend more time in the GYM

Re: Foilers vs Kiters proportion now

Like others have stated.....the conditions at your spot will have a big effect on the numbers, but botton line is foiling is growing.
It kinda reminds me when kiteing first started. Kiteing vs.Windsurfing numbers in the beginning are now completely opposite.

Yeah, as an owner of a complete quiver of 2018's, especially for Foiling, I love to hear comments on the differences between the 2019 and the 2018.

Re: Mast length pros vs cons

I ride a 36"(81cm) mast, my wife rides a 32" (81cm ) mast....... both with the same wings. The other day we switched and I'm sure the 32" mast was faster and maybe even more maneuverable for bank'n & crank'n. Now granted all the other stuff everyone has been commenting on is true, but if I were a ra...

Re: SUP Foiling

Hi Guys, thanks for your input on this project. I tried to SUP ride a 70cm Race board today and was very surprised to find how too small, without a kite, a Race board is. I could only kneel on it and even then at my 150 lbs I still had to be in the perfect spot on the board. The board was very tippy...
